This 1989 Perfect Condition Alfa Romeo
Spider Veloce with custom factory pin-striping in gold with red winged Pegasus
decals. This car is in suburb running shape with absolutely no mechanical
problems what-so-ever! Vehicle runs as if new! This car is in
excellent Concours collectors shape and has taken numerous car show awards for
best in class. This vehicle is a rare find in this excellent of shape! A
very collectible and New Mexico owned and driven Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce
Convertible. Presented in a stunning color of Alfa Romeo Bianco Freggo (Cool
Bright White) with absolutely no dents, body defects, paint chips or rust.
The exterior is complemented with factory gold pin-striping under the
factory clear coat.I also have a vinyl front end bra included with the sale of this car. This Alfa also has brand new Light Buckskin Sport Bucket
Seating and finished off with a new black with white stitching Robbins padded
cloth convertible top. This Alfa has been meticulously maintained and has a
strong maintenance history that has been closely and carefully documented.
This is what some Alfisti refer to as the 3rd Generation or 3rd series of Spiders with the reliable Bosch L-jetronic fuel injection system. This 1989 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce has been painstakingly maintained by Alfa Romeo factory trained mechanics using genuine Alfa Romeo parts in original order and has always been western owned and driven. Once again, the vehicle has no body issues and no rust. The vehicle has the original two owner 66,954 miles and is running exceedingly well with no mechanical issues or defects at all. The vehicle also has a brand new rebuilt 5 speed transmission and clutch rebuilt by a certified Alfa Romeo and Ferrari mechanic. The synchros shift smoothly and quickly with no issues. Engine runs very strong and has no leaks. I have also had a "stinger" straight exhaust pipe with no rear muffler installed on the vehicle. The make is ANSA, (top quality stainless steel with Teflon coating and chrome tip), and makes the car have a sporty, throatier exhaust tone while improving performance as well. RUNS AS IF BRAND NEW! I have held this Alfa Spider in garage captivity and have gently preserved the vehicle in excellent condition. Fri, 26 Sep 2014We love Motor Trend's annual World's Greatest Drag Race video. Now back for its fourth appearance, the idea of lining some of the world's fastest cars up for a ten-wide, straight-line, full-throttle run is, well... it's pretty freaking badass.
The lineup this year boasts some impressively fast cars to be sure. The group of ten includes the following darlings: Alfa Romeo 4C, BMW i8, BMW M4, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Ford Fiesta ST, Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, Nissan GT-R Nismo, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Subaru WRX STI and, last but not least, the Volkswagen GTI. Give us any one of those for the weekend, and we're happy to take the keys.
It must be said though, that for a publication that draws as much water as Motor Trend does, there are some big cars that we might expect to be here instead. The Lamborghini Huracán or Ferrari 458 Speciale would have added some exotic flare to the list, and the omissions of the Chevy Corvette Stingray (for the second year in a row) and the Dodge Challenger Hellcat are real head-scratchers.
