Thank you for viewing my classic original 1972 Agave BMW 2002. This is a great example of an original northeast classic bimmer. Starts right up and is ready to be driven. Completely original, purchased from the original owner. Although cannot be completely confirmed, after having my own PPI conducted, the mileage seems to be the original 61,100. All original interior, all the dash gear works including the gauges, switches, windshield washers, lights, and blinkers. The heat works, windows roll up and down smoothly, all seat belts work, headliner is in great shape. The dash has a slight crack in the middle, the front valance has signs of rust. However the shock towers are in good shape as well as the floor and trunk pans. All paint appears to be completely original. The chassis is in excellent shape. Recent maintenance records available from 2007-current. Clean NJ title in hand. This is a great car for any true BMW enthusiast or collector. I have owned a few roundie's and for a northeast car this is a spectacular example. I will gladly answer your questions, take you for a ride, have your mechanic come for an inspection, etc. However I will not entertain low ball offers or life stories on why you have a thesis on why it's worth two grand. This is an original running great looking roundie and is owned by an enthusiast and hope it will remain that way. Please remember that this is a 42 year old classic car and this is an AS IS sale with no warranty implied. I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge however PPI's are always recommended. I also have a photo and video album with over 100 photos that I can email you as well.

Permanent erection lawsuit against BMW thrown out
Wed, 19 Mar 2014The California man who claimed that he suffered from a 20-month erection after a four-hour ride on his BMW K1100RS motorcycle (similar model pictured above) has had his case dismissed. It seems the court found his claims too hard to believe.
Henry Wolf filed a product liability lawsuit against BMW and seatmaker Corbin-Pacific in the California Superior Court in April 2012 after he claimed a motorcycle ride in September 2010 caused a long-term case of priapism from the "ridge-like" saddle design. He asked for compensation for lost wages, medical expenses and emotional distress from both companies.
Nearly two years later, according to Visor Down, Judge James J. McBride decided that the case didn't have enough supporting evidence. A urologist testified that the plaintiff had priapism, but the court rejected the testimony of a neurologist who claimed the motorcycle's vibration caused the disorder. The defendants presented testimony from the bike's former and subsequent owners. Corbin-Pacific CEO Mike Corbin also spoke in the company's defense.
Hamann BMW M6 Mirror can now cash the checks its body writes
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Anyone remember the Hamann Mirror? Need a refresher? The Mirror is German tuning company Hamann's idea of a BMW M6. It was shown at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show as an M6 Gran Coupe, sporting a ridiculous paint job and some meaty, multi-spoke 21-inch wheels.
Consider this car the Mirror Mark 2. Based on the M6 Coupe, Hamann has applied a similar visual theme, using the same 21-inch wheels from 2013. Whereas the Gran Coupe rode around with a stock powertrain, though, there's been no such restraint with the two-door Mirror. A fine 620 horsepower is available from the 4.4-liter, biturbocharged V8, an increase of 60 horsepower. Torque is up as well, from 501 pound-feet to a whopping 560, meaning this M6 has speed to match its looks. Hamann claims the Mirror's newfound grunt allows it to hit 62 miles per hour faster than the standard M6 (we'd certainly hope so), although it won't mention a specific number.
The suspension, meanwhile, has been dropped 1.37 inches, or about a third of an inch lower than the Frankfurt Mirror. That drop is complemented by the Mirror's bodywork, including the exposed, carbon fiber hood and the flared fenders, which can now accommodate the enormous 305/25 rear rubber. Hamann has also paid some attention to the front and rear aerodynamics.
