I have decided to sell my BMW 325i. Here are the details:
- Second owner; I bought this car with 16K miles on it in Texas. Currently about 112K highway mileage; ALWAYS garage kept!!
- Body is in beautiful condition. NO rust, recently moved from Texas so NJ salt. It has the minor dings and "door dents" you'd expect with a car this age, but nothing else. Underneath is clean. All protective shields are still there. CV boots are in good shape (no tears).
- All lighting (outside and inside the car) and all dash gauges work fine
- Car is in excellent running condition. Starts with no problem, idles smooth, accelerates with power and no hesitation. Engine is clean and runs very smooth. Always kept up on regular maintenance (oil changes, air / cabin filters, wiper blades, etc.)
-Recently replaced the radiator expansion chamber & Power steering pump.
I am located in Milburn, NJ. I took very good car of this car during its lifetime and quite honestly don't want to let it go, my expanding family forces me to get something bigger. Car is being sold AS IS with no warranty. I am in no rush to sell it, and will not entertain low ball offers. BMW working with Dainese to put airbags in motorcycle suits [w/video]
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Addressing the safety concerns of its customers, BMW Motorrad is co-developing a rider suit with Dainese to feature something that's much more common in automobiles: airbags.
Starting with Dainese's D-air Protect System, which is made up of inflatable protectors that deploy in 15 milliseconds, the two companies will integrate the technology into a BMW Motorrad brand, one-piece racing suit, the DoubleR RaceAir. Later a different, street-oriented airbag system that can be retrofitted to bikes will be offered to Beemer riders.
The DoubleR RaceAir is expected to be presented at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan in November, after all required crash testing has been completed.

X1, 3 Series power BMW back into global luxury autos sales lead
Thu, 14 Mar 2013BMW managed to eke ahead of Audi for the global luxury sales crown in February. According to Bloomberg, BMW saw deliveries swell by 7 percent in February, besting the 3.2 percent jump enjoyed by Audi and giving BMW a 407-unit delivery lead over its rival last month. Mercedes-Benz, meanwhile, continued to falter, with the brand selling some 37,229 fewer machines than BMW, whose factories are running at full capacity to keep up with demand. Models like the X1 (shown above) enjoyed a sales increase of 40 percent in February while the company's bread-and-butter 3 Series jumped by 26 percent.
Mercedes-Benz hopes to stem its continued market share loss with the addition of the entry-level CLA sedan to its portfolio in April. The company is set to roll out an updated version of its cash-cow E-Class at the same time, and a new-generation S-Class will follow along shortly thereafter. Meanwhile, the company is increasing production to meet demand for its A and B-Class models.
