2006 Bmw 330xi Base Sedan 4-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Ottawa, Illinois, United States
Overall, this car is in very good to excellent condition. The body has very few minor surface scratches and dents. Mechanically, the car runs and drives very good. I've changed the oil every 3K miles with BMW synthetic. In addition, I've replaced both front lower control arms, ball joints, and stabilizer links with new factory parts installed by a dealer. I replaced these within the last couple thousand miles. The brakes and tires are still good. The car has black front bumper cover grilles along with the factory ones, 5% tinted windows, and I had the factory wheels powder coated black. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the appearance. The only known defects are that the passenger seat airbag sensor may need to be replaced and there's a slight rattle in the front end. I believe the rattle may be the front strut bushings, but, I'm not sure. I'm selling the car as I've purchased a new one and no longer need. You won't be disappointed with this one and good luck bidding!

2014 BMW 2 Series is a 1 and then some
Thu, 24 Oct 2013
Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i.
BMW has taken the wraps off its replacement for the 1 Series, the 2 Series, ahead of an official debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in January. Pricing for the new coupe starts at $32,100 for the 228i and $43,100 for the M235i that we showed you earlier today - not including $925 for destination. And before you break out the torches and pitchforks, know that those numbers compare favorably with the current 128i Coupe and 135is Coupe, which start at $31,500 and $43,550, respectively.
BMW expects China to pass US as its top market in 2013
Thu, 11 Jul 2013When you combine two billion citizens, 100 cities with more than a million inhabitants and an economy that's as unrestrained as Jim Cramer on an Adderall binge, China's explosive auto industry growth shouldn't be a huge surprise. Audi already lists the communist country as its largest market, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting it to be there in the next few years. Now, according to a report from Automotive News, BMW is expecting the People's Republic to overtake the United States in sales by the end of 2013.
We already discovered the extent that BMW is going to in establishing a dedicated Chinese stronghold, when we explored BMW's Shanghai-based DesignWorks studio ahead of April's Shanghai Motor Show. And while we argued that DesignWorks Shanghai hasn't really borne fruit, it isn't due to a lack of sales.
BMW China has seen a 16-percent jump in year-over-year sales, lead by a 28-percent gain in 5 Series sales. Part of BMW's growth strategy comes from an ever-expanding dealership network. Remember those 100 cities we mentioned with over one million people? According to Karsten Engel, CEO of BMW's Chinese operations, those 100-million-plus city dwellers don't have access to a premium dealership.
BMW shows off 435i Coupe with M Performance parts
Sat, 20 Jul 2013Greetings from the famous Circuito do Estoril racetrack in Portugal. We're here to put the 2014 BMW 4 Series coupe through its paces, and we'll have the chance to sample the updated 2014 BMW M5 with its new Competition Pack, as well. But before going out for some hot laps, we took a few minutes to check out this 435i Coupe that's been fitted with a full suite of goodies from the BMW M Performance parts catalog.
Starting with the exterior, carbon fiber bits are the most noticeable additions, with the lightweight material added in the form of a massive front splitter, mirror caps and a rear spoiler. Other visual changes include lightweight 20-inch wheels, a blacked-out grille, and unique M Performance side stripes. No, that's not a shadow you see under the 435i's strong side character line - that's a stripe. Yes, we're serious.
Inside (we couldn't get photos of the interior, sorry!), BMW has added its sport steering wheel with race display, unique M floormats, steel pedals, and a whole mess of carbon fiber and Alcantara trim.
