Beautiful peach of a 535i. I bought this vehicle recently and really just don't have time to enjoy it. I've probably put a total of 100 miles or so on it, it's been garaged otherwise. Heated seat on the driver's side needs a little work. Seems to work sometimes and not others. Owned by a local guy who did his own maintenance. He was second owner, bought it in 1992. I work at a BMW dealership and have access to any and all info you'd want on it. Tires are great, wheels are great. Full inspection before I bought it, needed nothing! I even have the previous owners notes on his oil changes and maintenance work that I'll include along with the two manuals you can see in the pictures. Only other issue is the interior lining on the driver and front passenger door. One is missing, other needs to be re-wrapped and re-attached. I will plan on getting some pictures together of the engine and trunk when the weather breaks here if it hasn't sold. Please feel free to ask me any questions you have!

BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo gets leaked well ahead of Geneva reveal
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The great power of the internet has allowed us to get an early first look at the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, a car that is slated to be shown in full at the Geneva Motor Show next month, albeit without many details to go on right now. With pictures leaking out this early in the game, we'd expect that you won't have to wait until March to get the full lowdown, however.
Our first look at the 3er GT reveals a car that is, to our eyes, a tidier piece of design work than its 5 Series GT brother. The long-backside proportions are still a bit ungainly, at least from these images, but they're helped tremendously with the larger wheel/tire package and more aggressive fascia of the sport package.
Expect the 3 Series GT to hit the ground running, with the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and 3.0-liter inline-six found in the standard 3 Series sedan. BMW's popular xDrive all-wheel-drive system is a virtual lock for the option sheet, too.
Mini nixes plans for 7-seater, Countryman to stay largest model
Sat, 08 Mar 2014Contrary to popular belief, it seems that Mini's growth plans do have a limit both in size and number of models. During the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, it unveiled the six-door Clubman concept (pictured above) that was 4.4-inches longer and about two-inches wider than even the current Countryman crossover. Mini design chief Anders Warming says that this is the new size limit for its models, and the BMW subsidiary isn't building a larger, seven-passenger vehicle above the current Countryman.
"We won't build anything bigger than the Countryman, not at this moment. You should be able to park a Mini in a city, so a Countryman or this new Clubman is as big as it should be," said Warming to Auto Express in Geneva. Rumors going back to last November, pegged the Mini as developing an even larger vehicle to take on mainstream CUVs.
While Warming is ruling out a bigger Minis for now, a smaller one like the Rocketman concept still might be in the cards. He said that the project has been warmly received but still had to be investigated because "it's a numbers game." So if bigger Minis aren't coming, there still might be a slim chance for a smaller one.
Is the BMW i8 actually already sold out?
Mon, 02 Dec 2013The other day we brought you a report from Reuters, which quoted BMW's global sales chief Ian Robertson as saying that the Bavarian automaker had already sold out the entire year's production run of its new i8. Impressive, sure, but perhaps not all that unusual for a groundbreaking new sportscar from a major automaker, of which only limited quantities are typically built. But is the i8 really sold out?
Our compatriots at Car and Driver chased down the story and report that Robertson's claims aren't exactly accurate. According to C/D, the numbers are based on sales projections, not actual orders taken. So while BMW may build upwards of 1,900 i8 coupes next year and over 5,000 in 2015, and while they're all expected to sell, that doesn't mean that it's too late to get your order in. That is, assuming you have the $135k on hand and don't mind getting just three cylinders back in return.
