There are paint chips on the front bumper from bugs and rocks. There are also other minor paint defects throughout. The only operational flaw is a possible ground issue that occasionally causes the headlights to default to low beams with no ability to turn the fogs or brights on."

This 1998 BMW 528i has 123.7k miles on the original engine and transmission. It has been meticulously maintained and has full service records. I purchased the car at 114k miles from my relatives. Since then, the oil has been changed twice, 115k and 121k miles, with full synthetic oil. The transmission, power steering, and differential fluid has also been changed since I purchased the car. I have also replaced the rear passenger door lock actuator, trunk lock actuator, valve cover gasket, and the camshaft position sensor. The trim is wrapped in 3M carbon fiber vinyl and is removable without damage if you wish to do so. The car also has Eibach front and rear sway bars. The tires are new and were put on very shortly after I bought the car. If you have any questions about the car, feel free to contact me.

BMW i3 misses top Euro safety rating [w/videos]

The Euro NCAP just tested a recent batch of new cars including the 2014 BMW i3, and the EV Bimmer scored less-than-perfect results. Though not horrible, BMW's all-electric/range-extended i3 was given a four-star (out of five possible) crash rating due to concerns with front-occupant whiplash and side-impact protection.
Based on the crash results, the BMW provided suitable protection for occupants in the frontal, side barrier, pedestrian and child-seat tests, but the i3 was tripped up when it came to the more severe side pole test and the rear-impact test. The pole test showed protection to the chest of the test dummy was "weak," and the front seats only provided "marginal" protection against whiplash for front passengers. 2016 X6 M brings the power at LA show

BMW tore the cover off the second generation 2016 X6 M Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
BMW tuned the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 to push out 567 horsepower, up from the last model's 555 hp. Torque also leaps to 553 pound feet, compared with the previous output of 500 lb-ft. The V8 is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which swaps in for the old six-speed. This potent powertrain allows the crossover to hit 60 miles per hour in about four seconds.
The X6, which features slightly more dramatic styling and an angled rear roofline, debuted alongside the more conventionally styled 2016 BMW X5 M at the LA show.

BMW expounds on i8 design and performance in new videos

At this point, there isn't much we don't know about the 2015 BMW i8, so BMW is starting to focus its attention on reassuring consumers that the future of BMW won't abandon the past. In these two recently released videos, BMW answers questions prospective buyers might have about about the new model's design and performance.
In the design video, BMW explains how the i8's styling is intended to be practical, with aerodynamics and fuel efficiency in mind, yet still have a sporty and dynamic look. The performance video aims to show that the plug-in hybrid can be fuel efficient while still delivering plenty of performance, and it shows an animation about how the i8's drive systems work together.
