For sale is my 2008 BMW 535i with Sport Package, Comfort Package, HID, electric rear sunscreen, manual back seat sunscreens, and NAV. I purchased the vehicle CPO from a local dealer last December with 41000mi. The vehicle still has its CPO warranty until August of 2013 and now has 55000mi. It's my daily driver so this will go up. Of course, everything works and its condition is in that which you would expect after the CPO recondition + one year. Buy this vehicle CPO from a dealership now and pay 30000 + dealer prep + about $2500 in tax. Selling as I desire to pay off my house. $500 non-refundable deposit due via Paypal upon winning auction. Balance due within 14 days via cash or draft on my bank. I have sold my personal cars, trucks, and motorcycles on Ebay for years. BMW i8 official images leak ahead of Frankfurt [w/video]
Tue, 03 Sep 2013The new BMW i8 plug-in electric supercar isn't set to make its official debut until September 10, when it will glide onto the Frankfurt Motor Show stage amidst a sea of flash photography. Of course, that isn't so true in today's world, where debuts are always preceded (often carefully) by "leaks."
Take this trio of images of the BMW i8 - there's just enough of the exterior on display in the profile shot to draw attention, without showing important styling points that might be present on the front or back of the car. The same goes for the video attached below. The cabin shot is cool, but isn't particularly earth-shattering when it comes to BMW interiors. As for the skeletal shot, we can see the 1.5-liter, turbocharged engine positioned between the rear axles, the battery pack found in what would be the transmission tunnel and the front-mounted electric motors.

BMW teases 2 Series Coupe ahead of October 25 debut
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Although it was finally just confirmed that the last of the BMW 1 Series coupes and convertibles went out of production months ago, we won't have to wait very long to see this model's replacement, the all-new 2 Series. BMW released a teaser video for its new coupe today and also announced that the 2 Series will officially debut on October 25.
We may still have to wait until the Detroit Auto Show to see it up close and in person, even though both the Los Angeles Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show are nearly upon us. Either way, it's not clear when the 2 Series will roll into dealerships. Considering we've already seen the coupe sitting out mostly undisguised for a photo shoot, there really isn't much to see in terms of styling of the car in this sun-drenched, dirt-slinging teaser. BMW does say that this is the first trailer ahead of the 2 Series' unveiling, so there are likely to be more to follow the video seen below.
Next BMW X1 caught on flatbed
Tue, 17 Sep 2013The X1 had been around for four years before it was added to BMW's US lineup, so it isn't all that surprising that a new version of the company's smallest Sport Activity Vehicle is already in the works. Captured in transit on the back of a flatbed truck, these spy shots give us our first look at the next-gen X1 - codenamed F48 - which is expected to debut around 2015.
While the camouflage does a good job of obscuring most of the styling elements, we definitely see evidence of the X1's new platform. Elements like the loss of the long nose and a noticeably shrunken dash-axle gap (just compare this spy shot picture to this one from our X1 review), are good indicators that the next X1 will move to the new front-wheel-drive platform BMW is using for the new Mini and 1 Series GT. Aside from this, the overall shape is very similar to the current design, but we're sure it will pull many cues from the updated range of BMW products.
