I am selling my personal 750i Sport. The car is a two owner, dealer maintained, Monaco Blue on tan 08 750i Sport. I bought it to replace my 4.8iS X5 and have loved every moment with it but it is too nice to drive in the winter and I have too many projects to store as is. I bought this car from BMW of Peabody as soon as it came off of CPO. I purchased it with 85k after searching for two months and finding nothing but duds. The car is concourse level in regard to condition.

The car has NEVER seen snow and has ALWAYS been garaged both by myself and the PO. This isn't your typical e65; it doesn't show any wear and tear, it doesn't burn any oil, makes no noise, and really is perfect. Additionally its not your typical color combination. I realize 93k isn't ideal but for reference sake I bought this over one with 50k that was priced for less then mine BECAUSE of its condition. I realize I put quite a bit of emphasis on condition but I do it so that people considering this car realize what they are looking at.

2008 750iS
93k miles
Monaco Blue on Tan
Fold in mirrors, push to start, Logic7, Sport steering wheel, Rear shades, AC/heated/massaging seats, navigation, Sirius XM, CD changer, Auxiliary, Soft close doors, Electric trunk, shadowline trim, 20 inch sport wheels, sport suspension, Adaptive xenons, ski pass, and so on. (every single option except rear entertainment, night vision, and active cruise control).

Exterior: 9.5 out of 10
With the exception of very few nicks to the nose from rock chips and a quarter size scratch to two wheels the car is a 10 out of 10.

Interior: 10 out of 10
There are no tears, stains, or marks ANYWHERE. The wood trim is intact, buttons do not have typical wear, seats don't show ANY wear, and the functions work perfectly.

Mechanical: 10 out of 10
I bought the car a month after it had valve cover gaskets, power steering service, and plugs done. Oil was changed every 4500 miles both by me and the PO (he had his computer scheduled for 4500 and I maintained the same routine) using full synthetic oil. I had the transmission service performed, changed the PCV valve (car has updated PCV because its an 08 so no valve stem issues or oil consumption issues), replaced the rotors and pads using genuine rotors and Aekebono Ceramic pads, as well as coded the car with windows up remote function and all available updates. Wipers and filters are also brand new (changed them last month).

Drive-train: 10 out of 10
Car had thrust arms and links replaced at 80k. Struts and shocks are mint and the suspension doesn't need anything.

Mods: 20mm spacers on all corners, Canbus 5k HID fogs, Canbus plate bulbs, debadged.

PPI: I am willing to bring the car to BMW or an independent of your choice at cost of buyer for inspection

BMW tests M Lap Timer App with M4 Coupe at Brands Hatch

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

The 2015 BMW M4 looks to include all the necessary ingredients to offer dynamite driving experience. It's an M car after all. But in today's constantly connected world, the experience of hurtling a car around a track isn't always enough.
We want data, and while there are some solid telemetry apps available for smartphones (notably Harry's GPS LapTimer), manufacturers have been a bit slower to develop their own dedicated mobile telemetry trackers for their performance cars. With the new M4, though, BMW is taking the plunge, allowing drivers to track their lap progress through a new app, creatively called the M Lap Timer.
To show off the program, BMW has recruited touring car racer Andy Priaulx to perform a fast lap in an M4 at the UK's Brands Hatch circuit. The accompanying video doesn't do much to show off the app in action. Rather, it give us a stylized look at the metrics as Priaulx hustles BMW's hottest 4 Series coupe around the circuit.

Auto execs surveyed say VW, BMW most likely to grow

Thu, 17 Jan 2013

A new survey of top global automotive executives indicates both Volkswagen and BMW are the most likely to grow their market share over the next five years.
Tax advisory firm KPMG LLP has released its 14th annual Global Automotive Executive Survey, which includes responses from over 200 executives. A total of 81 percent of respondents said they expect to see Volkswagen make gains, compared to 70 percent last year. BMW, meanwhile, saw 70 percent of those surveyed say they believe the company will increase its market share. That's a jump of 7 percentage points over last year. This is the first time in the history of the survey that BMW has claimed the second-place spot.
Meanwhile, Hyundai has seen its perceived market share potential slacken for the third year in a row. Around 61 percent of those surveyed predicted gains for Hyundai, down from 63 in 2012. Toyota also has a surprising year, but for just the opposite reason. While the manufacturer had slipped in ranking since 2011, it enjoyed the largest increase of any company in the 2013 survey, jumping to 68 percent from 44 percent last year.

BMW M3 and M4 will rock 430 hp from twin-turbo six with standard manual [w/video]

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

We're not sure which spec we're most intrigued by for the new BMW M3 and M4: the twin-turbo six-cylinder with 430 horsepower and "far beyond" 369 pound-feet of torque, the 3,300-pound curb weight or the standard six-speed manual transmission with automatic throttle blipping on downshifts. That engine is fitted with both Valvetronic and Double-Vanos, twin-wire arc-spray coating in the cylinders instead of liners to save weight, a track-ready cooling system with additional radiators, a forged crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication and a magnesium oil sump. BMW says its "high revving concept" has a redline beyond 7,500 rpm.
In the M4, it will be pulling a coupe with "a weight of just under 1,500 kilograms," which is 3,300 pounds to you and me. That number is said to include no driver and 90 percent fuel, but we're still waiting on the exact number and specs. BMW says it's "around 80 kilograms lighter than a comparably equipped predecessor model," putting the power-to-weight ratio at something like 7.68 pounds per horsepower at the same time as it helps reduce fuel consumption by 25 percent. The use of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) for the roof, drive shaft (with no center bearing), trunk and front strut brace, and forged aluminum for suspension components, have aided in the weight loss. This time around, the sedan - the M3 - will also get a CFRP roof.
The default option will be a six-speed manual.
