Jackson, Mississippi, United States
Vehicle Title:Clear
Make: BMW
Drive Type: 2wd
Model: 8-Series
Mileage: 82,429
Trim: 850i
This a very rare 1992 BMW 850i with a v12. I have this car listed for no reserve so it will sell to the highest bidder. This is a very nice original car with only 82,000 miles on it. This was a one owner car before I purchased it and I've only had it about 6 months and have put less than 500 miles on it. I bought the car as a toy and I just don't have the time or room for it do that's why I'm selling it. The car is all original besides an aftermarket cd player. It just had a full service including spark plugs and new fuel filter. The body is in great shape. It has a couple of very small door dings but that's it. The paint is in good shape for its age. It could use a good buffing but the paint still shines good. The interior is also in great shape with normal wear for a 20 year old car. The only real flaw on the exterior is a crack in the rear tail light lens( see pics ). Everything on the car works like it should and all in all this is a very nice original car. It gets a ton of attention everywhere I've been in it. For any questions feel free to call David@ 601-506-5732.
I can arrange very affordable shipping to anywhere.
I do require a $500 deposit within 24 hours after the end of the auction and full payment within 5 days.
This is your chance to own a very nice very rare BMW at a no reserve auction. This car will sell to the highest bidder regardless so please bid to win.
If you have no feedback or any negative feedback please contact me before bidding.
Once again for any questions please call David @ 601-506-5732.

2014 BMW X5 priced from $53,725*
Mon, 24 Jun 2013A month after the official curtain was dropped, BMW has seen fit to release pricing information on its new 2014 X5 crossover. The X5 sDrive35i, which is the first rear-wheel-drive version of the X5, will begin at $53,725 (*including $925 for destination and handling) while the traditional all-wheel-drive X5 xDrive35i will begin at $56,025. Both feature BMW's well-regarded 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo N55 engine with 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
The 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35d (Have these convoluted names confused you yet?) is priced at $57,525 with its 3.0-liter diesel engine (255 hp and 413 lb-ft), and, finally, the TwinPower Turbo V8-powered X5 xDrive50i (445 hp and 480 lb-ft) will start at $69,125. Buyers looking to customize their X5 experience can choose from the Luxury Line, xLine or M Sport packages, plus Ivory White and Mocha Interior Design Packages. Regardless of which engine is chosen, the X5 will come equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
For comparison, the 2013 X5 xDrive35i started at $48,425. That means the price has increased by over $5,000 despite not including standard all-wheel drive or by $7,600 when comparing apples to apples with similar six-cylinder engines and power to all four wheels. The V8 model increased by $4,000 and the diesel, interestingly enough, dropped by $100.
BMW expects China to pass US as its top market in 2013
Thu, 11 Jul 2013When you combine two billion citizens, 100 cities with more than a million inhabitants and an economy that's as unrestrained as Jim Cramer on an Adderall binge, China's explosive auto industry growth shouldn't be a huge surprise. Audi already lists the communist country as its largest market, while Mercedes-Benz is expecting it to be there in the next few years. Now, according to a report from Automotive News, BMW is expecting the People's Republic to overtake the United States in sales by the end of 2013.
We already discovered the extent that BMW is going to in establishing a dedicated Chinese stronghold, when we explored BMW's Shanghai-based DesignWorks studio ahead of April's Shanghai Motor Show. And while we argued that DesignWorks Shanghai hasn't really borne fruit, it isn't due to a lack of sales.
BMW China has seen a 16-percent jump in year-over-year sales, lead by a 28-percent gain in 5 Series sales. Part of BMW's growth strategy comes from an ever-expanding dealership network. Remember those 100 cities we mentioned with over one million people? According to Karsten Engel, CEO of BMW's Chinese operations, those 100-million-plus city dwellers don't have access to a premium dealership.
Jay Leno puts focus on some retro-inspired BMW bikes
Mon, 28 Jul 2014Jay Leno puts eight wheels on display this week for Jay Leno's Garage from a quartet of retro-inspired BMW motorcycles. They are the creations of husband and wife team Larry and Carol Romestant, who build each one in their home garage.
Larry is a former aerospace engineer who loves BMW bikes, especially the K models. Now, he's combining his passion with a real talent for fabrication to build his own cycles with his wife. With Larry and Carol the only ones working on these projects, it takes them six to nine months to build each one. In addition to the old-school looks, the motorcycles are supposed to be a bit more user friendly than stock. For example, one of them ditches the standard five-speed gearbox in favor of a six-speed unit to be a little more comfy when cruising at high speeds.
Since there isn't enough time to take all four of them for a ride, Jay picks his favorite to test out on the open road. Scroll down to see which one he chooses.
