GENERAL: This 2012 Buick LaCrosse, Touring edition, is top of the line and in perfect condition. With only one previous owner, this automobile is ready for the next person to love it. The only reason we are selling is because we now live in NYC and no longer need an automobile.
EXTERIOR & INTERIOR: This is a garage kept vehicle without body or interior damage. No accident history. Brand new paint job after a hail storm, so there are no dings or scratches. Pristine leather seats and floors without any rips, stains, odors, or abuse. Full detailing has been maintained weekly. Smoke-free environment. Still has a "new car" smell. The interior is very spacious and plush.
MECHANICAL: This car drives perfectly; smooth ride and quiet engine. Mileage is mostly from interstate highways. Transmission shifts smoothly and steering wheel handles well. No history of mechanical problems and all maintenance work has been done by a Buick dealership. All power features work properly just as when it was first purchased.
ELECTRONICS: Great navigation system - verbal commands and visual aid both work well. When car is parked, a dvd can be viewed on the navigation screen; your own drive-in movie theater where ever you go. Steering wheel and front seats can be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. Keyless ignition also allows the car to warm up before you enter.
Shipping and Payment: Kelly Blue Book Value is approximately $29,500, but we are selling it for $27,000 or Best Offer. $350 deposit due within 48 hours and full payment within 7 days. Willing to meet buyer within a 25 mile radius of our current location. Not responsible for shipping the vehicle. Must meet in person.

Buick celebrates 110 years by naming most significant model of each decade
Sun, 23 Jun 2013In May of 1903, Buick began work on its first vehicle, the 1904 Model B, the first example of which was sold to a doctor in Flint, Michigan. That first sale was appropriate since later on, Buick became known as a "doctor's car." The Model B is the first of 11 cars chosen by Buick to highlight each decade of the company's 110-year history.
The 1916 D-45 Touring with a six-cylinder engine was Buick's highest seller that year, and helped push overall sales past six figures for the first time, making Buick the top-selling automotive brand. In 1931, Series 50 got an eight-cylinder engine, which helped the company survive the Great Depression. The 1936 Century was the first Buick that could hit 100 miles per hour, the 1949 Roadmaster had a supporting role in Rain Man, the 1953 Skylark had Italian wire wheels and the owner's name engraved on its steering wheel.
Then we have the iconic 1963 Riviera, the V6-powered 1975 Regal, and in 1987, the legendary GNX. With a turbocharged, intercooled V6 pumping out 276-horsepower it could hit 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. In 1999 Buick built the first car in China, the Century, and that country remains the brand's largest market.
Buick might be getting a logo makeover
Fri, 23 Nov 2012General Motors has finished off an extensive model overhaul for its Buick division, but along with its updated cars, the brand might also be getting a new logo. According to the Detroit Free Press, GM North America President Mark Reuss indicated that the Buick tri-shield logo could be getting a makeover, but offered no further information.
It is unlikely Buick will completely redesign or replace its current logo, but the article seems to indicate that it might return to color; although all chrome now, the logo used to feature red, white and blue shields. Head on over to the Detroit Free Press article to look at some past Buick logos including one from 1904.
2014 Buick Regal GS AWD
Thu, 27 Feb 2014"This is just silly," I said as I laughed my way sideways around the icy track at Circuit ICAR, a racecourse, drag strip and kart track at the Montreal-Mirabel International Airport in Quebec. It wasn't the activity that had me cracking up, though. After all, winter driving experiences aren't uncommon in this business.
No, in this particular case, it was the car that had me chuckling. I wasn't in a mad hot hatch or a rally-derived rocket - I was in a Buick. The 2014 Regal GS, to be more precise. Somehow, despite its recent product renaissance (not to mention its distant - yet storied - history of performance models), I was having a hard time believing that this attractive, turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sedan sliding around the Great White North could possibly be wearing a Tri-Shield badge on its nose.
But it was, and slide about it did. While having access to a vehicle in this setting is fairly rare, what's rarer is the fact that I've had so much exposure to it. In Mr. Ewing's recent Volkswagen Golf R drive story, for instance, his ice capades were his first experience with the new model. In my case, though, I was lucky enough to first test the refreshed Regal GS for a week back in December before flying to Quebec to drive it on the snowy, icy, winding roads of Canada's most fiercely independent province and on the track at Mirabel.
