Hellro, I'm Dickie. I started in the car business the year I graduated from college. ( 1974 ). I started using Ebay motors about ten years ago. Now I buy cars one at a time, thoroughly inspect them and if they meet my standards I'll buy them to sell here and locally. ( I don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of ). I also don't exaggerate about the condition of my cars. Words like: pristine, "like new" showroom condition etc. I very seldom use. This car is the exception. It was bought new on 6 - 9 - 2000, for over $24,000.00. ( one owner, non smoker ) The original window sticker was placed in a zip lock bag and put with the owner's manual in the glove compartment. The interior shows no wear, even the floor mats. I bought this car in the condition you see in the pictures. The engine compartment is as clean as the interior and the original paint is as glossy as it was when new. This car should be driven to really appreciate it's condition. My wife and I drive every one of our cars, so we are very familiar with every aspect of their condition. Simply put: This car is about the closest you can get to " new " that I have seen in the hundreds of cars I've sold in the last forty years. I truly mean that. Please read the window sticker to see what this car has. Too much to list here. This car needs absolutely nothing. Tires are like new as well as the four wheel disc brakes. It has had impeccable maintenance over the years. If you are near enough to me, you won't be disappointed if you come and take it for a drive. It's that nice. By the way, I only sell cars on this site,so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car. No exceptions. So if you are in the market for a like new, pristine car under $4000.00, I don't think you will find a nicer one anywhere. Buick has best sales year ever, delivers over 1M cars globally
Wed, 08 Jan 2014If there are any lingering doubts why General Motors held onto Buick while killing Pontiac, Hummer and Saturn, one only has to look at the sales numbers from 2013 for the real answer. Thanks largely to strong sales in China, Buick set a global sales record last year by selling more than one million vehicles.
The lion's share of Buick sales came from China, which sold more than 809,000 units - about four times more Buicks than were sold in North America as a whole. In the US, the Buick Encore accounted for almost half of all US sales with 97,311 units as Buick spent the summer trying to keep up with demand of the subcompact crossover. Likewise, China-only models like the GL8 minivan and Excelle sedan (same as the US-spec Verano) were strong sellers in that market.

I wasn't wearing a pedometer while in Germany covering the Frankfurt Motor Show this year, but it's safe to say I walked more than a few miles between press conferences, shooting cars and trekking back to the media center on the first day alone. For this reason, it didn't take much convincing from General Motors for me to duck out of the Messe a day early and drive some of its latest Opel models. No, this didn't include the all-new Country Tourer, but I was able to drive the Opel Mokka (our Buick Encore), the Opel Adam and the Opel Cascada.
I focused most of my driving time behind the wheel of the Cascada, which went on sale in Europe earlier this year, since rumors are swirling that a Buick version of this convertible "could happen soon." Buick hasn't had a convertible since the Reatta, and GM has been lacking a non-performance, budget-minded convertible since the Pontiac brand - and its G6 - was dropped, so adding the Cascada to Buick showrooms could further help the reemerging brand compete in the near-luxury segment. Although the weather was too chilly (and occasionally rainy) to enjoy the Cascada with its top down for very long, I was able to clock a fair bit of drive time behind the wheel on roads ranging from the autobahn to tight roads in small, quaint villages.
2014 Buick Regal GS
Mon, 09 Sep 2013A few months ago I drove the 2014 Buick LaCrosse and wrote up a First Drive review of it. For all of my quibbles with that sedan (and I had a fair number), I understand that it speaks to the heart of what new Buick loyalists like in a car; it's roomy, has a cushy ride and is as placid as a summer's morning at highway speeds.
Those qualities, while undeniably desirable, don't mean a whole lot to me personally. I prefer sedans that conjure up words like "nimble," "punchy" or even "raucous" on occasion. So, directionally, the high-performance GS version of the 2014 Buick Regal is more my cup of tea than any other car in the company's current range.
In fact, I'd already come to know the Regal GS from its 2012 model year introduction, and grown more than a little fond of the sporting sedan in its original front-wheel-drive, six-speed-manual guise. The fast, sweet-handling car with well-sorted controls may have suffered from a slight identity crisis in terms of pricing (and may still), but it was undeniably fun to drive. So, when I heard that the GS was coming to market for 2014 with optional all-wheel drive (albeit only in combination with a six-speed automatic transmission), I was stoked to have another go and concentrated my driving impressions on the AWD car.
