you1957 buick caballero 4 door hard top, 100% COMPLETE! only 10,040 made according to my internet production search, making it very rare indeed. less than 1% have survived! I pulled it out of the barn and have washed it, that's it. was driven into the barn 15 years ago and they tried to restart it 5 years ago, wouldn't start. They changed carbs and it still woun'nt run. outher than carb and one missing fender port on drivers fender its 100%Complet!! has every nut and bolt as if it was parked yesterday, wind wing and passenger side window are cracked. tinted glass all round. Nice orig steering wheel and inst, and radio, inside stainless and out side is perfect. crome has some decay. Again I have washed the car and that's all, I have not started on the inside. the most important thing about the car is its completeness. also this car has a rear jump seat for getting into the back of the wagon. All stainless in /out is perfect, the motor compartment has every nut and bolt it left the factory with. this car came with factory rear air shocks and was the first new car to have reg. ball joints. the car has rust under it and I do not have a rack to put it up. still has factory carpets. All so, it is the new 364 cu in motor with 250hp up from 200hp in 1956! this car is sold as is where it is, I MAKE NO PROMIES OR WARRRENTY TO THE BUYER. Opel Insignia OPC Sports Tourer shows its fresh face ahead of Frankfurt debut
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Drive down the Autobahn and there's any number of vehicles likely to pass you, and most of them are produced locally. But if you're wondering how that Opel left you in its dust, look closely (and quickly) enough and you might make out the letters OPC on the back.
They stand for Opel Performance Center (the German counterpart to Vauxhall's VXR line) and they adorn performance versions of the Corsa, Astra and Insignia. The latter is undergoing a bit of a refresh and is expected to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a couple of weeks, but you don't have to wait that long as our intrepid spy photographers have caught it in the flesh outside an Opel facility in Germany.
Spied here completely undisguised in Sports Tourer (read: wagon) form, the Insignia has had a few nips and tucks performed, but we'll be more intrigued to see what it's got under the hood. The current model packs a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 driving 325 horsepower to all four wheels, but rumors suggest that the OPC (yeah you know me!) could have as much as 400 hp up its sleeve. That would make this one heck of a sleeper - especially in wagon form - and only make us pine for a more potent version of its twin Buick Regal to roam our highways, too.
GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected
Tue, 20 May 2014General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
