This super clean 2007 Cadillac DTS was traded in for a new Caddy by its 2nd owner, who purchased it in 2010 with 15,604 miles. Done in Gray Cypress with Titanium Leather, this Level II DTS has so, so many options. Moonroof; Navigation; Sirius Radio; Heated/Cooled Seats with Lumbar; Chrome Wheels; Park Assist; plus all the other standard Cadillac Luxury touches. This DTS runs flawlessly. Smooth and quiet. Just had it serviced at 119K. Changed oil, front hub bearings, and 4 new Goodyear Tires. The interior is extremely clean. Never smoked in. Everything is clean and in good working order. The body is shiny and dent free. CarFax confirms this Cadillac has never been in an accident. Few minor surface scratches, (not even photographable), but nothing out of the ordinary. Watch the 2014 Cadillac CTS get its groove on in the rain
Sun, 31 Mar 2013In case you haven't got enough of the 2014 Cadillac CTS that just debuted at the New York Auto Show, Cadillac has let us have some rolling footage of the car around its test track along with a few words from VP of marketing Don Butler and executive director of design Mark Adams.
You won't learn much more about its 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V6 but you can hear how it growls in the rain, and you can get a better idea of how you'll look in the driver's seat giving it a workout. That's got to be worth something, right? You'll find both videos just below.
Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards
Fri, 18 Jan 2013This year's annual Eyes on Design awards were presented at the end of press days for the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday. Given out for the best production and concept car designs that debuted at the show, and voted on by an esteemed panel of actual car designers, this year's award for best production vehicle design went to the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, which was the show favorite among Autoblog editors, apparently did not impress the Eyes on Design judges enough with its all-new vent-festooned design.
The award for best concept design was actually split as a tie among the Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas concepts. Last year's winners were the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept.
The Eyes on Design organization also presented a new honor this year called the Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense of design in his acceptance speech, arguing that advancements in quality across the industry as a whole have made good design a key differentiator for buyers.
2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual
Tue, 11 Nov 2014Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.
