I am selling my 2003 Cadillac Deville DTS in excellent condition.  The car look great and runs better.  The exterior shines like new.  The engine always starts and runs flawlessly.  The transmission shifts smoothly and crisply.  The tires are brand new with knobs still on them.  The interior doesnt smell.  The car was garaged and non smoker owned.  It tracks quiet, comfortable, smooth, and straight.  It was just inspected by an ASE certified mechanic and received a clean bill of health.  This car has tons of life left in it.  The listing says white because it was the closest drop down choice but the car is a beautiful off white pearl color.

Although the car runs and looks terrific, it is not new.  It has usual wear and tear.  A few minor dings and scratches here and there, nothing major and nothing noticeable unless you got up close and were looking hard for them,  The interior is immaculate with no stains or tears but the driver's seat has some usual wear on the side of the butt part.  The engine compartment looks like you could eat off of it.  The rims shine great with no curb rash but if you bend over and inspect closely inside you can see some minor pitting, nothing major.  The sunroof headliner is experiencing some minor sag.
Everything works as it should.  The air conditioning is ice cold and the heat is scalding hot.  The heated seats work quickly and well.  The DVD NAV system is great.  The stereo sounds great.  This car is loaded with so many features that it has me wondering what Cadillac forgot.  It has On Star, an electrochromatic rear view mirror, back up sensors, memory seats, tilt telescopic electric adjusted wood steering wheel, tinted windows, automatic climate control, keyless entry, HIDs, and much much more!
This car has been well maintained and really to go!  Needs nothing.
I will cooperate with shipping if you are out of the area.  I am willing to drive the car to Cadillac or any local mechanic of your choice for a prepurchase inspection.  Please review my feedback and bid with confidence.  I am one of the good guys!
If you have any questions or would like a test drive or to buy it now call, email, or text me anytime.
No reserve so bid to win.

Carpool Deville aims to be the world's fastest hot tub

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

The world needs crazy inventors with wild dreams. While we might not long for the things that they create, their contraptions certainly make the day a little more enjoyable. Take the Carpool Deville as an example. Nobody (well, almost nobody) is asking for a hot tub fashioned from a 1969 Cadillac that is still drivable. But now that you know that such a beast exists, don't try to tell us you aren't at least intrigued.
The team behind the six-year-long project has a pretty ingenious setup worked out. The Caddy's original 472-cubic-inch (7.7-liter) V8 both provides propulsion and heats the water. The interior is entirely replaced with a watertight, fiberglass tub that includes working jets, and the controls are all done by hand.
As if just building a mobile hot tub isn't enough, the team behind the Carpool Deville plans to take it racing too. Specifically, they intend to go to the Bonneville Salt Flats later this year to make a top speed run while immersed in water at over 100 degrees. They even have a roll cage all set to install to meet the safety requirements there.

Cadillac chief says ATS convertible, wagon on the table

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What we do know is that the ATS will wear at least one more bodystyle. That comes from Cadillac head Bob Ferguson, who answered "Absolutely" when Automotive News asked him about the possibility of another variant. What we don't know is what that bodystyle or styles will be.
We now have a sedan and coupe ATS, there's supposedly a V sedan coming. After that, a convertible is a likely option given that the man who just became the global product honcho at General Motors, Mark Reuss, admitted to having one already designed in 2012. The decision on it can't get out of the underworld and a wagon is the other option, but the droptop would seem to make the most sense if one considers the competitive set: the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5 convertibles are hot property and Mercedes is bringing a C-Class convertible. Meanwhile wagons are the sentimental utility vehicles that, refusing to die, seem forever destined for life support... CTS Sport Wagon, anyone?
Based on Ferguson's statements, it appears that what Cadillac definitely won't do is play model variant catch-up with the European luxury brands it has spent years hunting down, telling Automotive News, "We want to keep our focus on a limited number of vehicles and do them very well."

Cadillac's new ad campaign to tell you how to get lucky

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

Cadillac is set to launch a new ad campaign this fall, as it attempts to maintain the momentum established by new models like the ATS. The campaign comes from an agency called Rogue, and according to AdAge, will lean on American values. It's called, "Work Hard. Be Lucky."
The campaign is fairly self-explanatory, just from the tagline. It's meant to make a Cadillac seem more attainable to the average, aspirational buyer. It does kind of pander to that American idea that everyone's hard work gets rewarded, but as ad campaigns go, that's not a bad thing.
Somehow, it doesn't roll off the tongue quite like "The Standard of the World." As AdAge points out, Cadillac's advertising over the years has lacked a real coherent theme, although we'll admit to enjoying the most recent campaigns, particularly the around-the-world jaunts with the ATS. It's unclear if the "Work Hard. Be Lucky." theme will evolve into an actual tagline for the brand, with Caddy spokesman Dave Caldwell telling the advertising mag, "It could very easily end up being a line of copy along with other lines; we don't really know yet. It's an open question as to how dramatically it will be featured."
