This Eldorado is in excellent mechanical condition ( ready to go ). This car has been with the same local family since new until I bought it a few years ago. You can talk to the mechanic that has worked on it in the past and checked it out prior to my purchase. A very original smooth riding, reliable car that is proud to wear a few minor scars including a small scrape on the front left fender some small amount of discoloration in the paint (no rust )and a convertible top beginning to show its age but plenty useable as is. The interior shows well with no rips or tears, no cracks in dash and nice carpet. The parade boot is included. I keep this car inside my car barn protected from the weather. Buyer will be responsible for picking up the car after payment is secured.

Cadillac XTS to become Opel flagship sedan?
Tue, 24 Jul 2012According to Auto-News.de, Opel is considering using Cadillac's all-new big sedan, the XTS, as the base for its new flagship car, which would likely carry the name Omega.
WorldCarFans.com speculates that Opel could use GM's 3.6-liter direct-injection V6 that generates 304 horsepower or, possibly, a 2.8-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that creates 321 horsepower to power the vehicle. The European automaker could even use a 195-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine in this application - fine, since many of Europe's largest sedans are powered by smaller, more efficient engines.
Regardless of power, the Omega could arrive at dealerships by the end of 2013.

Cadillac to recall 20,000 SRX models over wheels that could fall off
Thu, 23 May 2013A potential issue with the lug nuts on 19,871 units of the 2013 Cadillac SRX in the US and Canada has lead to a recall of the luxury crossover. Those lug nuts that have a Teflon topcoat, identified by their bluish tint, could loosen and cause "creaking, rattling or grinding noises or steering vibrations." In the worst case scenario, a wheel could fall off, but there have been no reports of that happening, nor any reports of accidents or injuries due to the issue.
This is the second recall action on the SRX over the last few months. In March, Cadillac recalled 27,000 SRX models over a transmission programming issue. General Motors will begin notifying customers with the potentially faulty parts on June 3, at which time they can take their vehicles to dealers to have the tires rotated and new nuts installed. A further 7,397 SRXs exported from North America also face the recall action.
