(Scroll Down for Photos)

Uptown Motors is proud to offer this meticulously maintained 2007 Cadillac Escalade. This non smoker’s car was just traded in at the local GMC dealership on a new car. It runs, drives, and looks great!

The exterior is in beautiful condition.  The“fine silver birch metallic” paint looks as good as new and has very few imperfections in it. The underside looks great too.  The 22” alloy wheels look great and have no curb rash or corrosion. The front bumper does; however, have a small crack in it. This can be seen in the photos.

The interior of this SUV is amazing. The black leather looks like it is new. The carpets, seats, headliner, glass, and dash are in great shape. This Escalade is free from any smoke smells, burns, or marks. All electronics function as they should.

This Escalade has many great features including:
-403 Horsepower 6.2 Liter V8

-6 Speed Shiftable Automatic Transmission

-Heated Leather Seats (front and rear)

-Factory Navigation

-22” Factory Escalde Wheels (tires are almost new looking)

-Power seats, mirrors, windows, locks, etc.

-Factory CD Changer

-Power liftgate

-Remote Start

As stated above, this truck runs and drives perfectly and everything works as it should. It starts and runs with no smoke, noises, or hesitation. The transmission shifts smoothly. The SUV drives straight down the road with no strange noises or vibrations. The exhaust is quite and the brakes work perfectly.

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe

Thu, 30 Oct 2014

Cadillac has become a very, very different company since the dawn of the new millenium. Its turn-of-the-century lineup, consisting of staid offerings like the Seville, DeVille and Eldorado, represented the Old Cadillac. These cars were plagued with Old GM quality issues and catered to a more elderly audience. Since the company's Art and Science design language arrived, though, we've seen Cadillac flesh out its lineup in a big way, introducing notable and (so far) enduring products, like the the CTS, SRX and most recently, the ATS.
With the CTS tackling the 5 Series segment and the SRX duking it out with the Lexus RX and its classmates, the ATS has been left with the tough task of battling the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class, among others. Critically, at least, it has excelled in this role, but it's still working on finding its feet sales-wise. On paper, broadening the model range by adding a two-door personal luxury coupe could help.
After a week with the ATS Coupe, though, we've found a car that, while retaining the standard model's excellent driving character, doesn't quite offer enough visual excitement to stand up to other cars in its segment.

Cadillac CTS-V gets Stealth Blue and Silver Frost limited edition models

Fri, 15 Feb 2013

A little more than a year and a half ago, former weekend editor Alex Nunez and I were talking about how sweet it would be for Cadillac to offer a CTS-V in the Corvette's Supersonic Blue paint, and as if General Motors eavesdropped on our conversation, this showed up. And while the Stealth Blue car you see here isn't an exact duplicate of the hot-looking sedan GM showed off in prototype form, it's really close. And really sweet.
New for 2013, the Cadillac CTS range gets two new colorful editions, starting with the Stealth Blue package available on the CTS-V (in sedan, coupe and wagon bodystyles) as well as the naturally aspirated CTS coupe. In addition to the unique paint, blacked-out grille and dark satin wheels, Stealth Blue cars can also be done up with an optional Twilight Blue leather interior. (And you thought blue-on-blue color schemes died in the '90s.)
Cadillac is also offering a new Silver Frost package, but it's a bit more exclusive. Only 100 examples will be built, all in CTS-V Coupe form. The Silver Frost paint is a low-gloss matte finish, in that while it technically has a clearcoat covering, it's reduced in a way that the surface still appears flatter than standard paint. Even so, Cadillac states that the car should be hand-washed only.

GM winding down Chevrolet brand in Europe

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

If you've taken even a cursory look at GM's European strategy and wondered how it can target the market there with both Chevrolet and Opel/Vauxhall, you're not alone. In fact General Motors itself has found it difficult to justify the two-pronged approach. That's why it's essentially pulling Chevy from the European marketplace.
Instead of trying to ply European buyers with what are mostly former Daewoo products rebadged as Chevys, GM will now let Opel (or Vauxhall in the UK) represent its mass-market aspirations. Chevrolet will keep its presence in Russia and other former Soviet markets, and will continue selling certain niche products in Eastern and Western Europe. The Corvette, for example, has long been sold in Europe through Cadillac dealerships, which for its part is currently "finalizing plans for expanding in the European market".
While the shift in strategy is expected to help GM get a stronger foothold in the European market in the long run, in the short term the restructuring will cost it dearly: between $700 million and $1 billion, according to its own estimates, split between the last quarter of this year and the first half of the next.
