This is a Running and Driving 1937 Cadillac Fleetwood.  This car is Luxurious even in today standards.  The Interior has been redone at some point and the car has been repainted.  I am not selling this car as a done nothing wrong with it ready to go car.  I am selling it as a running, driving car.  It has a electric fuel pump added to the car.  As I look over the car That seems to be the only modification that I can tell has been done.  I am no Expert and have only had the car a short time in my care.  We replaced the spark plugs and replaced the 6v Battery with another 6V Battery.

The Bad

Has small cracks, and chips in the paint,  dent in trunk area drivers side, Dent and paint problems in right rear fender,  Drivers door needs adjusted doesn't close as perfect as the others, small dent right front fender, a couple of window are crack and delaminating, surface rust and small bubbles in paint at edges of trunk, insides of doors and at a few paint chips.  Trunk lid edge is rusted but can be fixed.  A couple of buttons on the front seat are gone. Steering is a little loose.  Gear shift knob is worn out. underside engine and transmission is wet but does not drip oil. clock in the dash is inop possible blown fuse or unhooked to keep battery from running down(not sure though.  Window crank on the passenger door missing clip that holds it on. The paint is peeling off of the tail lights. Tires are older but do not leak and have good amount of tread

I know I am missing something but if it is it could not be anything big.

The Good

This car starts right up, The brakes work great, The clutch feels great, The transmission shifts well, The car rides like a Cadillac should,  The Potential for a perfect car is there.

I have tried my best to represent this world class car in the light that it should be.  Please Contact me with any Questions.  I would love to talk to anyone interested in this beauty.  I have been driving this car Daily for a week now.  The car is also for sale Locally and I have a 13000 offer so I am setting my reserve price at that.  Please contact me for shipping options.  There will be a charge for shipping but picking it up is free.

Cadillac reveals stretched ATS-L in China

Tue, 29 Jul 2014

In the market for a new Cadillac, but need more space than an ATS can afford? Then you'll want to look at the larger CTS. Unless you live in China, where buyers - often chauffeured instead of driving themselves - seem to prefer a long-wheelbase version of a smaller sedan than upgrading to a larger one. For those buyers, Cadillac has released the new ATS-L.
Based on the existing ATS sports sedan, the ATS-L offers an extra 3.3 inches of rear legroom over the model we get here. As a result, the ATS-L stretches its wheelbase to 112.5 inches and its overall length to 186 inches, while riding a quarter-inch lower than the standard-wheelbase model, which itself was recently updated. That places its length in between the regular ATS and the CTS available Stateside.
Otherwise it's essentially the same sedan, but appears to ditch the base 2.0-liter four to offer either the 2.0-liter turbo four or 3.6-liter V6. Of course this model, produced locally for the Chinese market, isn't likely to make the transpacific voyage to US showrooms, so American buyers will still have to choose between the standard ATS, the larger CTS or the even larger XTS.

Facelifted Cadillac ATS spied completely uncovered

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

The Cadillac ATS makes for a pretty svelte little coupe, and General Motors appears to know it, because multiple, completely undisguised prototype sedans have been spotted testing wearing what look like many of the forthcoming coupe's body parts.
Not only does it wear at least the outline of the brand's new, broader crest, it has the same front air dam with continuous chrome strip found on the coupe. The only real difference is that it has the somewhat taller side view mirrors from the sedan, rather than the narrower, longer ones from the coupe. Around back, the changes are harder to spot because the test car is outfitted with an unpainted lower bumper. However, it seems to lack the chrome strip that offsets the lower portion of the coupe from the sedan.
The ATS sedan is already a looker, but it is good to see Cadillac is taking a second pass using what it learned on the coupe. There's no word yet on when this revised sedan is going to hit the streets - let alone what changes will take place beneath the skin - but we're thinking it looks about right for 2015.

Cadillac tipped to call flagship something other than LTS

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Cadillac wouldn't be Cadillac without large sedans in its lineup, and while the XTS has had to hold down that end of the fort all on its own, it won't have to for too long. That's because the luxury brand in the General Motors portfolio is preparing to roll out its new LTS, stylistically previewed by the Elmiraj concept pictured above. Only now, the latest thinking is that the upcoming flagship model may not be called LTS at all.
As Automotive News points out, Cadillac's naming scheme is all over the place at the moment. The ATS slotting below the CTS makes sense (alphabetically), but where do the ELR, SRX and especially the Escalade fit into that naming hierarchy? And how would LTS - as the project has been known until now - sit above the XTS?
Fortunately, Cadillac may be on the case, as two of the division's most recent senior appointments seem keen to rationalize the naming scheme. One is Uwe Ellinghaus, who joined Cadillac as chief marketing officer late last year. Speaking of the brand's nomenclature last spring, Ellinghaus was quoted as saying, "We are aware that this is currently a weakness of the Cadillac brand." And his new boss is bound to agree.
