You are bidding on a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 52,600 miles. This is a one owner vehicle
and was always garaged kept.

This Cadillac is overall in excellent condition for the year, 1972 was cadillac's 70th anniversary. They only made
approx. 20k fleetwood brougham's, and cost just under $8,000 new.

The exterior is a bright deep black with chrome trim. The body is rust free except for a small area on the bottom
rear fender (drivers side see pic, the paint still covers the rust, just bubbling). The vehicle may have had some
paint work on the sides (no rust repair). The hood and trunk have some slight clear coat checking and some very
minor paint blemishes (see pic). The passengers rear fender has very slight damage (hard to notice, see pic).
The vinyl top is in great condition with no under rusting bubbles that most others have. All the chrome is in good
condition. Overall a very elegant appearance and gets lots of attention.

The Interior in in excellent condition, no cracks in the dash, no rips in the seats. Original mats always covered
the carpets. Power seats not working (might be a fuse) and the trim around the controls on the drivers door
is slightly out of line and a small cut (see pic).

The Engine runs good however, it could use a good tune up. Brakes, exhaust and suspension are all good.
Transmission shifts perfect through the gears. The a/c compressor does come on but will need to be charged.
besides the powers seats, all electronics are working.

Any questions email or call Joe 908…217….0480  The cadillac is located in Oldwick NJ.

Cadillac chief says ATS convertible, wagon on the table

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What we do know is that the ATS will wear at least one more bodystyle. That comes from Cadillac head Bob Ferguson, who answered "Absolutely" when Automotive News asked him about the possibility of another variant. What we don't know is what that bodystyle or styles will be.
We now have a sedan and coupe ATS, there's supposedly a V sedan coming. After that, a convertible is a likely option given that the man who just became the global product honcho at General Motors, Mark Reuss, admitted to having one already designed in 2012. The decision on it can't get out of the underworld and a wagon is the other option, but the droptop would seem to make the most sense if one considers the competitive set: the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5 convertibles are hot property and Mercedes is bringing a C-Class convertible. Meanwhile wagons are the sentimental utility vehicles that, refusing to die, seem forever destined for life support... CTS Sport Wagon, anyone?
Based on Ferguson's statements, it appears that what Cadillac definitely won't do is play model variant catch-up with the European luxury brands it has spent years hunting down, telling Automotive News, "We want to keep our focus on a limited number of vehicles and do them very well."

Akerson says Cadillac will get a larger sedan within two years

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

It seems that during a recent affair showing off the 2014 Cadillac CTS, General Motors CEO Dan Akerson confirmed reports regarding a new Cadillac flagship sedan. According to USA Today, which Akerson was visiting, he said that a sedan larger than the XTS would debut within the next two years.
This matches up with what we heard earlier in the month about a Cadillac model that will go up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class (not a pricier, low-volume sedan also discussed in that article). But this is the first time a high-profile executive name has been attributed to such a report, and the first time a broad timeframe has been mentioned. This article adds that the unnamed car will be rear-, and all-wheel drive with a platform "loosely based" on the new CTS, with styling closer to that car than recent Cadillac concept vehicles. The XTS will continue production of course, as well.
