This is the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham! 65,458 original miles! I rarely see a Brougham 2 door coupe,

Everything on this car works great.

This Rare 2 door coupe it also has the leather package seats. I’ve never sat in more comfortable seats! The pillow back leather is unmatched. It's like sitting on a comfortable couch. The leather in this car is almost like new. It is butter soft and smooth. The back seat was never sat in at all. It simply is gorgeous.

Optional RARE 8/6/4 V8 6.0-liter Digital fuel injected engine. Amazing power and response when compared to the stock engine With this option the car was built on the commercial chassis (the same used for the limo's) making it a solid handling car, and  heavy-duty rear, cooling has a huge radiator, heavy-duty alternator, heavy-duty transmission. The car handles beautifully! I get 21mpg on highway with this car, no joke!

This car has been garaged and covered Most of its life.

The color (claret red was a paint option, beautiful metallic  adding depth to the finish). The color looks elegant on this car It matchs the imterior package well, just look at the pictures. It’s such a beautiful combination. It is one of the most breathtaking Brougham’s I have ever owned.

The paint, top, dash, door panels and leather interior is in great condition

Cadillac considering more electric cars, Elmiraj business case gaining popularity

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

Cadillac's electrification isn't likely to stop at the $76,000 ELR coupe, according a report from TheDetroitBureau.com. Speaking to Cadillac's global sales boss, Bob Ferguson, a successful ELR will likely lead to a larger, even more upscale offering than the Volt-based two-door. "I could certainly see a larger vehicle, something even more luxurious," Ferguson said of a potential second, battery-powered Caddy.
That car would likely boast a more potent version of the Voltec powertrain that motivates the Volt and ELR. This next-generation system is still sometime off, though, and won't likely arrive until the second-generation Volt hits the market.
Besides hinting at future plug-in hybrids, Ferguson spoke to TDB about the improving business case for the Elmiraj Concept, shown at the Pebble Beach Concours in Monterey in August. "I'm very excited about the reception for the Elmiraj," Ferguson said. "I'd like to see it in showrooms as soon as possible," he added, before saying that a business case for the production version of the big coupe still needed to be presented to the brass. "It was made to be operationalized," Ferguson added, which is just what we want to hear when it comes to big, flashy concept cars.

Cadillac logo losing its wreath?

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

The easily recognizable Cadillac logo dates back to the company's founding in the early 1900s, but over the last 110 years, there has been an on-again, off-again love affair with the wreath surrounding the crest. Cadillac's current badge design has used the wreath since the 1980s, but Automotive News is reporting that GM's luxury division is planning to ditch the laurel wreath for a cleaner-looking logo.
The new logo could make its debut as early as next month on a new concept car that will be revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, although the report also says that it might be until 2015 before it makes its way to a production car. Even then, it doesn't like anything has been finalized yet, as the article also says that plans could still change.
As Cadillac looks to improve its global presence as a luxury automaker, the report says that a simpler logo could make it easier for designers to incorporate the badge onto the car - either in the grille or above the grille (possibly in a fashion similar to Mercedes-Benz). Head on over to the AN article, which shows the Cadillac logo dating back to its earliest design.

Cadillac executive appointments have global flair

Wed, 17 Apr 2013

Cadillac has rearranged its executive suite in order to take full advantage of its sales momentum. Don Butler is moving from his role as US VP of marketing to a newly created position with the title VP of global Cadillac strategic development. It will be his job to "drive the next phase of Cadillac growth internationally," planning strategy and developing new markets.
He will be replaced by Steve Majoros, an exec poached from Chevrolet's ad agency of record, Campbell Ewald. Majoros, who has the Chevrolet campaigns "Like a Rock" and "American Revolution" on his resume, will oversee Cadillac's US and international marketing.
Another component in the brand's renewed global focus includes conducting an ad agency review. Announced last month, Fallon Worldwide remains Cadillac's agency of record, but others, said to include Campbell Ewald, will be bidding to make the creative that helps Cadillac expand sales percentages by triple digits here and in China.
