ONE OWNER BARN FIND!! OWNERS PERSONAL CAR FROM FARMERS DAIRIES!!1957 Chevy (TRUE)Bel Air 2 door sedan from West Texas and is VERY SOLID with the original title from 1957 registered to Farmers Dairies!! It has been sitting in a barn since 1981, it was originally Canyon Coral with Black and Silver Interior and was repainted in the 1970's to red, the headliner and rear seat are still original. One of the family members wanted to start restoring it and started taking the interior apart to replace the glass, all the large side glass was removed to make new ones, the only one installed was the right door, one of the rear quarter windows was broken in storage, the other 2 window are new ready to install, the regulators are there. The front seat is missing, it got lost after it was removed, the drivers side door window garnish molding is also missing. I could not find any rust through on this car just some light surface rust and some bubbling on the paint on the lower left front fender and some on bumper filler area between the trunk and the rear bumper. the truck pan and floor pans are very solid. The dash, gauges and trim look nice the odometer shows 63,409 miles, it came from the factory with no radio and has the original radio delete plate. We did get engine started and it sounds good, I have not driven it, the stamping in front of the block is FI28F, it has an automatic transmission, factory power steering and power brakes. This would make an excellent restoration project. It does roll fine for transport and the brakes are working. All I have is what you see in the pictures and nothing more. Please look at all 125+ pictures and email with questions before making offer or buying, it is a project not a driver and sold as is where is. Buyer is to pay all shipping/transport fees.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

Tue, 17 Aug 2010

2010 Buick Enclave - Click above for high-res image gallery
The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4

Wed, 29 May 2013

Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
