THIS IS, AS ANY OF US IMAGINE A 1957 CHEVY.....BEAUTIFUL. THIS CAR IS NEAR FLAWLESS AND READY TO SHOW OFF. THE CORRECT RED AND SILVER INTERIOR AND UPHOLSTERY ARE WONDERFULLY RESTORED. THE MATADOR RED PAINT IS STUNNING AND ATTRACTS ATTENTION EVERYWHERE SHE GOES. THE QUALITY OF THIS CAR IS IMPECCABLE. SHE HAS BEEN DRIVEN SINCE THE RESTORATION AND MAY HAVE MINOR MARKS ON THE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE BUT NOTHING MAJOR. (I SPOTTED A FEW SPOTS THAT HAD MINOR PAINT CHIPS OR MINIMAL FLAWS AND MINIMAL MARKS ON THE INSIDE). WITH ANY USED VEHICLE THERE IS SOME DEGREE OF WEAR. THIS CAR IS NO EXCEPTION AND DOES HAVE SOME WEAR, BUT I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING MAJOR. THERE IS NO A/C BUT THE HEAT DOES WORK. THE ODOMETER SHOWS 50,307 MILES BUT THE TITLE DOES SAY NON-ACTUAL. THIS CAR IS NEAR SHOW CAR QUALITY. IT HAD A FULL RESTORATION BEFORE THE OWNER BOUGHT IT IN 1997. TO BE CATEGORIZED AS ORIGINAL THE OWNER EVEN HAD TO CHANGE SOME BOLTS FOR A CAR JUDGING SHOW. THE OWNERS STATED THAT WHEN THE CAR SITS IT DOES HAVE A TINY LEAK OF FLUID. SAID IT MAY BE COMMON FOR AUTOMATICS. Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
