1962 Chevrolet Bal Air post car.
Extremely clean car from top to bottom.
Chevy came out of the Northern Texas/Southern Oklahoma area by the previous owner.
I was told the body was taken off the frame, after seeing it on a lift this is true.
Frame was cleaned and painted, body was cleaned up and bolted back on...car has a good running 454 with aluminum Edelbrock heads, Turbo 400 transmission.
Stock rear end, I don't know the gear ratio.
Paint is in good cindition, I'm not certain when it was painted but it was before I purchesed it.
Interior is all new, seat covers and foam was all replaced, carpet and headliner also.
Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is due withtin 24 hours of auctions end.
Remaining funds to be paid in person, cash or certified check.
Car will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared my bank.
Winner is responsible for ALL shipping arrangements.
I can deliver for a fee...I also have a shippeer that does the East coast area-dependable and reasonable.
I will ship overseas, again...winner is responsible for ALL shipping arrangements.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.
C7 Corvette makes inaugural ad appearance in Chevy's first spot with new slogan
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" tagline has finally been run into the ground, replaced with the Bowtie brand's "Find New Roads" slogan that's part of parent General Motors' plan to unify its everyday brand's marketing efforts worldwide. The new Chevrolet campaign was ushered in on prime time last night during the Grammy Awards on CBS, and the first spot, a 90-second full-line ad, also marks the first appearance of the 2014 Corvette Stingray in a commercial.
Being a full-line ad, the commercial is composed of vignettes centered on different vehicles in the brand's lineup. The all-new 2014 Impala also makes its first commercial appearance in dapper fashion, and time is spent on a skateboarding Sonic and a bouquet of brightly colored Spark hatchbacks driven by fashionable women. The ad starts and ends with Chevy's green halo car, the Volt, along with a young girl with her robotic dog (yes, really).
Chevrolet's "Runs Deep" campaign got off to a rocky start in the fall of 2010, but it did last for a couple of years with some tweaks. This new one, "Find New Roads" seems more intent on drawing new customers into the fold than the outgoing tagline, which seemed to play more toward the brand faithful. It admittedly reminds us more than a little the short-lived "Find Your Own Road" Saab motto (which, we note, was conceived while the Swedish brand was under GM's control), but no matter, we still think it's got more long-term potential than "Runs Deep."
