1972 Chevrolet Blazer 4 Wheel Drive. Vehicle titled as GMC Jimmy, the tailgate, grill and fenders have been changed to Chevrolet over the years. 350 CI engine, TH350 transmission New Process 205 transfer case, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory tilt steering wheel, factory tachometer, factory air all the goodies which all work. Also leather wrapped steering wheel, leather heated, power seats. The steering wheel and the seats are not original but are sooo much better than original. You can ride all day in comfort. AM FM stereo with cd changer 2 amps and subwoofer. Factory suspension has been replaced with Skyjacker Softride Springs both front and rear 4" lift. Polyurathene body mounts and bushings. Dual Rancho RS 5000 shocks in front and Rancho RS 5000 shocks in rear, Rancho steering stabilizer. BF Goodrich 35 x 12.50 tires on American Racing wheels with stainless steel caps. Warn lockout hubs, 373 gearing. Comes with factory hardtop as well as Kayline convertable soft top. Nothing like crusing around on a nice day with the top down (turns lots of heads). What it needs: Left front fender has a dent (see pic) but comes with a new aftermarket fender which needs painting. Original rocker panels in need of replacement, Rocker Boxes underneath vehicle which are usually rusted and gone on most are in good shape. Doors are original, driver door in need of adjustment. The choke on 4 barrel quadrajet carburator not properly engaging. Vehicle starts, runs, drives great, a joy to drive. I have owned this vehicle many years and didn't think I would ever part with it, but have sorta lost interest and seldom drive it anymore. Vehicle has been kept inside for the years in which I have owned it. These Blazers are becoming rarer and rarer with finished ones valued upwards of $30,000 dollars. Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web
Mon, 15 Apr 2013The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom.
