1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne Sport Utility 2-door 7.4l on 2040-cars
Houma, Louisiana, United States
1976 K5 Blazer. This is the first year of the conv. starting back of drivers seats. Getting out of the 4-wheeling stage and looking into another project. Blazer never put in mud or abused. Practically rust free except for the little bit you get underneath on bolt heads and such. Does have a 454 in place of the 400. Pretty much stock except for headers. Does run and drive good. Just not ino 4x4 anymore. Does not have AC but got all the vents and bezel for dash with all AC vents an bracket for comp. Hood will need to be painted and bug pisser hooked up. Have parts for that. Speedo not working. When engine was pulled the trans. case was pulled dna dnew oil put in and speedo did not work after? Oil pressure gauge needs to be hooked up.Other than a few of those minor issues Blazer in great shape for 37 yrs. old.Got the reserve set about the price of a used 4 wheeler so you could own something a hell of alot badder for same money. Any questions email me or call 985-665-6637 if no answer 337-291-7662. Thanks for looking.

2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers
Fri, 11 Apr 2014
Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face. But Docherty is optimistic and says she has a plan for the brand. We recommend heading over to Ward's for a closer look at the full read.
