I am selling my 4 wheel drive Chevy Blazer. My wife would rather have a van to haul our grandchildren. This Blazer is in excellent shape, my wife is going to be sorry this winter when she won't have the 4 wheel drive this Blazer has. With only a little over 118,000 I have no doubt my Blazer has many more years of excellent service. Where can you get a vehicle for such a low price, depreciation for one year would be much more than the total price of my Blazer.

I raised the body up 2 inches to give the Blazer a nicer look. This amount doesn't affect the ride quality. I always wanted to take it off road but never have. The tires are a nice compromise of aggressive look without being too over-sized. I would say they are 80% new. Alloy wheels have a few dings from removal previous to my purchase.

My Blazer has all the necessities: power steering, power brakes, cruise control, air conditioning and power drivers seat with lumbar control.

I have kept the exterior up with undercoating and a lubricant sprayed in the body cavities to extend the metal life. Paint is excellent with very minor scratch or 2.

Pushing Back: GM expanding Chevrolet into Korea, Daewoo out

General Motors decided several years ago to begin heavily promoting Chevrolet as its global mainstream brand even in markets where its existing brands like Opel and Daewoo were a dominant force. Today, at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea, GM Daewoo president Mike Arcamone announced that the Camaro would lead the way in GM's efforts to market Chevrolet in South Korea.
For now at least Chevrolet and Daewoo-branded vehicles will coexist in the Korean market. However, while we were in China last week GM officials told us that the Daewoo brand, which has been somewhat tainted by past quality issues, would eventually be phased out in favor of Chevrolet. When the new Aveo launches next year it will likely be badged as a Chevrolet even though GM Daewoo is in charge of engineering the car.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards

The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
