This is the baddest long bed C-10 with a six cylinder on the planet. Featured in the Oct 2007 issue of Street Trucks magazine and still a show winner today, this truck is custom from one end to the other. I will try my best to list all of the quality parts and custom modifications that went into this build.
Suspension:
Full four corner air ride featuring KP Components tubular control arms, notch and rear bag brackets, Slam Specialties air bags, Dakota Digital air gauges, dual Viair compressors, dual tanks, Classic Drop 2" spindles and 1/2" SMC valves. Air ride system professionally installed by Clint Petree at Sic Motorsports in San Jose, California.
Wheels and Tires and brakes:
22'X8" AKC wheels by California Wheels with 255/30ZR22 tires and 4-wheel power disc brakes.
Drive train:
250ci GM straight six cylinder built by Larry Clifford of Clifford High Performance, bored and stroked to a 292ci with Mallory ignition, cast aluminum Clifford intake with Holley 4-barrel carburetor, hand built split Clifford tubular headers, high temp coated and connected to two Flowmaster mufflers. Transmision is a built TH350 automatic with a B&M shift kit and it's all cooled by a Be Cool 4-core aluminum radiator.
Interior:
Beautiful "Navajo White" double stitched vinyl on the seat, door panels and dash. Dakota Digital gauge package, custom one off billet steering wheel on a tilt column.
Exterior;
Paint is all quality two stage PPG product lied down by Mike Webb of Webb Customs in Modesto California. Body painted 2004 Yukon "Minder Green" with "Navajo White" on the roof. Custom ghost flames and striping by Mark and Cary Greenwood of Hayward California. One piece power windows, shaved door handles with electric poppers and shaved tailgate and markers. Varnished oak bed wood with stainless steel strips and hardware finish off the bed. Clear LED tail lights and new chrome throughout.
The truck is not perfect, it is driven and is starting to show signs of it. It was built almost eight years ago but it is still sure to be a winner in the truck class at your local car show. I encourage any buyers to of course come and drive and inspect the truck if you are close enough and have the means. I can deliver it within a 200 mile radius in an enclosed trailer for the "Buy it Now price".
If you do not plan to pick up the truck in person and pay cash then please contact me first to talk about payment and shipping. Buyer is responsible for arranging all shipping and transport. Please do not contact me and ask how much to ship it because I am not in the shipping business.
I take my feedback score very seriously and I have sold classic cars both locally and internationally in the past so bid with confidence.
Feel free to ask questions.

Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
