Moving across the country and can't take my truck with me. My loss is your gain. Selling with no reserve. I need to sell the truck quickly and will likely sell for less than its worth.
Great classic truck. Runs great, used as a daily driver for 2 years before buying a car and keeping the truck in the garage this past year getting it out occasionally to maintain it. Has Chevy 350 engine from a '74 Chevy pickup that replaced the original. New Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor with less than 20 miles on it. Custom seats replaced the original. Seats recline and adjust forward and back independently. Middle "jumper seat" folds down for an arm rest and also has storage under the cushion. New carpet on the floor.
Truck was repainted 4 years ago. Paint job was not perfect at the time and had since acquired a few nicks here and there. Paint would need to be redone if putting in car shows but is fine for everyday driving or sitting in your garage. Looks great 10' away but you can find blemishes if you look close. I get plenty of compliments everywhere I take this. It is not show quality yet but would not take too much to get it there. The bed needs work. It needs some rust removal then some kind of bed liner, spray, or install wood to make it look great. Passenger door needs to be put back together. I have all the parts but I have not had the time to do it.
Truck comes with all the old parts I have including the old bench seat if you want it.

Buyer to pickup or arrange shipping
$500 due in 72 hours of auction closing the rest at or before pickup

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.

Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.

Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
