1980 CHEVROLET C-10 CUSTOM DELUXE. THE TRUCK HAS THE 305 ENGINE WITH 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION ON THE COLUMN. HAS ALUMINUM MICKEY THOMPSON WHEELS. THE TRUCK IS PRETTY SOLID EXCEPT FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE FENDER WELL WHERE THE BATTERY WAS SITTING AND RUSTED IT OUT. THE TRUCK HAD BEEN SITTING FOR AWHILE WHEN I PURCHASED IT. THE LIFTERS HAD COLLAPSED AND I INSTALLED NEW RADIATOR,HEATER CORE,BELTS,HOSES,PLUGS, PLUG WIRES, CAM AND LIFTERS. THE TRUCK RUNS GOOD KNOW. THERE ARE SOME DENTS IN TRUCK AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICS. BUT OVERALL THE TRUCK IS PRETTY SOLID. THE WOMAN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK FROM SAID HER HUSBAND USED IT TO PULL HIS BOAT TO THE LAKE BEFORE HE DIED. THATS WHY THE MILAGE IS SO LOW. THE DOORS ON THE TRUCK SHUT VERY WELL UNLIKE MOST OF THESE TRUCKS. THE DASH IS CRACKED FROM THE SUN AND THE STEERING WHEEL IS STICKY FROM SITTING SO LONG. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS JUST ASK. Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
