This is a very nice chevy c10. It runs and drives flawlessly, and is very tight, all the gauges and instruments work as they should. There is nothing to be desired mechanically on this truck. I drive it when the weather is nice on weekends and it stays parked in a heated garage in the winter months and does not get driven. The paint leaves a little to be desired if you are looking for a show quality truck, but the frame and body are both very solid and it is NOT full of bondo. It has two small bubbles in the paint that are roughly the size of a dime, one above the trim on passenger bed side and one behind the RF tire on the very bottom of the fender. The tailgate has some surface rust on the bend line below the trim that is about a inch wide. The trim is not factory and is stick on aftermarket trim. In my opinion it needs replaced. This truck still looks very nice and I get compliments every time I get it out. Features are listed below. Both engine and tranny have 20,000 miles on them, I have title in hand and previous owners contact information. I purchased the truck from a private seller that is in Lexington, KY. GM 350 crate engine, 650 carb, 700r tranny, 3.73 gears, brand new 3 inch exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers, pro star aluminum wheels, tonneau bed cover, roll pan that comes with the truck, glass is perfect, A/C (blows cold), heat, cd player, new seat upholstery, new carpet, new dash cap, new door panels, new headliner, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, brand new speakers behind the seat, it has been lowered 2.5/4 inches. feel free to call/text for more info and any additional pics you may want to see that are not featured on the ad! 573-380-3588. |

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. 2015 Chevy Tahoe gets Police Patrol Vehicle treatment
Thu, 07 Nov 2013That was fast. Mere days after showing a Police Concept based on the 2015 Tahoe at the SEMA Show, Chevrolet has announced that it will build a PPV model based on the SUV to do battle with the Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer) and Dodge Durango Special Service.
You'll recall that the Tahoe has been police staple for several years, predating both the Explorer and Durango police variants, so the fact that the new model would spawn a police variant is hardly surprising. Like the civilian model, the 2015 PPV benefits from a more efficient 5.3-liter, direct-injection V8 that pumps out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It also features more high-strength steel, offering better crash protection, on top of optional safety items like lane departure warning, forward collision alert and a Safety Alert Seat.
The press release is rather light on police-specific items, aside from the auxiliary battery, which keeps the myriad of electronics in a modern police car running even when the engine isn't. Lightbars, 17-inch steel wheels on Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and a push bar round out the mods for the Tahoe PPV. The cabin features a revised center console and room for laptop and other equipment mounts.
Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
