1974 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super P/U, Short bed, Fleet side. Frame off restoration in 2004, 7.4L V8 BBC. Turbo Hydromatic Transmission, New Process 205 Transfer Case. New Front Springs, Shocks, Steering Damper, and most of the Tie Rods, Sleeves, Ball Joints and Bushings. Brake lines replaced with Stainless Steel lines. New or Rebuilt Brake parts all around. Stainless Steel Fuel lines. One of two fuel tanks is new. New NOS rear Driveshaft. All Bolts, nuts, washers replaced at the time with Stainless steel equivalents'. Axle attaching U Bolts replaced with polished stainless steel ones. Tires 33x9.50x15 and wheels(Dick Cepek) are new. All Body attaching bushings are new. Body attaching bolts are polished stainless Steel. Interior at the time received New Carpet and insulation, Seat Was Reupholstered, Dash Pad replaced with a New NOS one and a new headliner. All other pieces are very nice original. Truck has a sliding rear window, Factory cargo lamp and Dome lamp.Factory Tachometer, oil pressure gauge, amp meter gauge, water temp gauge. Factory equipped Dual Tanks. Factory equipped Air Conditioning which all work great. The Body of the truck was basically rust free, as it was from West Coast. It was stripped at the time, top and bottom. Epoxy coated and base cleared. Looks really sharp. The truck is really clean inside and out and underneath, you will not find a nicer one. The truck was driven in the summers and stored in climate controlled shop. |

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web
Mon, 15 Apr 2013The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
