1988 Chevy 1500 Reg Cab/Step-side 2WD. 190000 miles. Very well kept it has been my project and baby. Due to having 3 kids and 3 dogs gotta get a bigger truck. The interior has been completly replace with 2 bucket seats from an escalade wrapped in black leather and burnt orange suede. Also has a custom center console sub box wrapped in the same with 2 competition T3 subs. The door panels have also been wrapped and I added 2 more mids in each door and replaced the interior speakers with mids also. That brings a total of 8 mids and 2 subs. It has 3 amps 1 pushing the subs and 1 for each 4 mids. Custom built dash to fit double din Pioneer radio with navigation. My nick name was redneck so it is etched in a few spots in the interior. I had a new magnaflow dual exhaust installed last year. It has an alarm with remote start and door poppers on both doors. Door handles are not shaved yet though. I also had some rims off a newer model camaro custom drilled to fit. All and all I have almost 10k in just the interior. Please do not low ball me as I love this truck and have invested tons of money into it. I am no teenager so I have driven this truck with respect no abuse and have never spun the tires.

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
