I have 2 trucks here I am listing for auction.The light blue1/2 ton was in an accident recently as you can see in the pictures.It was very disappointing because this truck was in Very good condition!It had absolutely no body rust or decay or bondo which is very commonly found on the early Chevy trucks.The engine in this truck is the original engine from 73,it is a 350-chevy small block 4-bolt main.It runs very well with no knocking or ticking whatso ever.It also has a TH-350 transmission 3-speed automatic with a 10-bolt rearend.Unfortunately the frame was bent from the impact on the driver's side and also cosmetic damage to the body as you can see in the pictures. I would like to point out that all the gauges on the inside are in good working condition. I have also listed a 1990 GMC s-15 4x4 truck. This truck can be driven on the road but has some issues due to its condition. It does have a lot of body rust which is very common on early s-15. It has four wheel drive and it works perfectly fine. I drove this truck in the winter only and never had any issues. It has over 190,000 miles and you have to keep an eye on the oil level from the motor due to a small oil leak in the oil pan. Chevrolet SS previewed by Holden VF Commodore SS V show car
Thu, 14 Feb 2013It won't be long before we see the official, production-ready Chevrolet SS sedan (hint: it will be revealed this weekend). And to tide us over until all of the official details are released about the US-spec version, we have this: the Holden VF Commodore SS V show car, a performance-oriented brother to the Calais V that debuted earlier in the week.
What we really want to know about the SS V is what lies underhood, but General Motors' Australian arm is keeping that under wraps until the Chevy model breaks cover this weekend. Nevertheless, it's obvious that the SS V will be a serious performer, with all sorts of aggressive cues driving that home on the car's exterior. Take a look at those 20-inch billet aluminum wheels that hide big Brembo brake calipers up front, the sculpted hood and front fascia, the wide air intakes with LED running lights and the quad exhaust pipes out back. It's like the Pontiac G8 GXP never even left us.
Inside, there's a sporty-looking interior with aluminum accents that mix in with black leather and suede surfaces, all tied together in the middle with an eight-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system. It looks great, and again, while we don't know anything regarding powertrain details, it makes us oh-so happy to see a manual shifter smack dab in the middle of the center console.

Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
