Up for sale is a 1978 Chevrolet K20 Scottsdale. It has 87,xxx original miles. It's being sold with NO RESERVE PRICE, HIGH BIDDER WINS THIS BEAUTY! They're getting rarer every day. Starts up, runs pretty well. Motor and transmission in good shape. Body of truck is in surprisingly nice shape, there has been minor touchups and some sheet metal work but it was done right. The tires are in EXCELLENT shape, interior has seen better days but still would be a good driver/candidate for restoration. The brakes, steering, and suspension feel normal. We tried to picture all of the defects, contact us if you have any questions! Feel free to come on by for a test drive. The truck is being sold as-is without warranty. We are a used car dealership in Illinois, and buyer is responsible for shipping/pick up of the vehicle. There is a non-refundable $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4
Wed, 29 May 2013Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!
Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
