GREAT LOOKING 78 CHEVY THAT HAS BEEN GONE THRU AND MOSTLY RESTORED. THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD THE TRUCK REPAINTED, ALL THE PROBLEM SPOTS FIXED (NO RUST) AND THE INTERIOR COMPLETELY REDONE WITH NEW CARPET NEW SEAT, GAUGE CLUSTER WITH THE RARE TACH OPTION AND THEY ALL FUNCTION. TRUCK HAS A 350 WITH AN EDELBROCK 4 BARREL AND INTAKE AND AN ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP SO IT ACTUALLY STARTS GREAT FOR A CARBURETED GM ENGINE, NONE OF THAT 12 PUMPS AND CRANK FOR 15 MINUTES MESS. 4 WHEEL DRIVE WORKS GREAT, HAS THE WARN HUBS THAT TURN FREE AND ALL 4 HUBS PULL LIKE THEY SHOULD. ALL THE ELECTRIC STUFF WORKS, ALL LIGHTS WORK RIGHT EVEN THE REVERSE LIGHT WORKS. GREAT OLD TRUCK BUT IM LOOKING TO GET BACK INTO A DODGE. Amelia Island 2013: Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray from concepts to split windows
Wed, 13 Mar 2013While this year marks 60 years of the Chevrolet Corvette, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance focused on one of the coupe's most sought after models, the 1963 Sting Ray. General Motors design boss Ed Welburn was on hand to show off the all-new C7 Corvette, but even the hard-edged styling of the 2014 Stingray couldn't take away from the beautiful 1963 models sitting out on the field.
In addition to the original Sting Ray and the 1959 Sting Ray Concept, some of the other classic 'Vettes included "Big Tank" racecars, an interesting cutaway coupe, a right-hand-drive Z06 and the attention-grabbing 1963 Corvette Rondine by Pininfarina. Another impressive Corvette was the 1964 Corvette XP-819 rear-engine prototype. Owner Mike Yager had the car finished as a driving chassis for this year's show, but promises the car will be back to its original glory in time for next year's event.

General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
