Camaro SS Pro Street. 396 Engine. Absolutely amazing and one of a kind 1968 Camaro SS "SHOW CAR"
This car is a Barrett-Jackson quality show car and is absolutely flawless and beautiful. Paint job alone is worth over $15K
This car is not your average 1968 Camaro you see on Ebay or anywhere else. I have only seen two Camaros in this condition and they were priced and sold for $80,000.00-$100,000
Fully restored to perfection and to the maximum level. No short cuts were made anywhere. Has less than 500 miles on the car after completion. Paint job alone is worth $15K and is absolutely flawless.
The vehicle was restored from ground,up and the roll bar was built within the chassis of the vehicle. High quality racing leather seats with heavy duty shoulder and base harness/seat belt.
Push button start. Stereo system with LCD display and remote. Front disc brake system. Way too much to list. Basically, like a brand new car from the ground up. Estimated way over 550HP on this puppy(not dyno tested).
Vehicle was built for a 1/4 mile, but was never raced. I enjoy showing and driving the car on the street. It recieves lots of attention on the show ground and lots of thumbs up on the street.
So, why am I selling it? I just got hired and need a high end car for my work. Otherwise, I would never sell it. This is an amazing investment that will only gain in value.
No reasonable offer will be turned down.
PS! Absolutely NO joy rides on this car.
On Apr-01-13 at 17:19:09 PDT, seller added the following information:
PS! I think there is a mistake on the engine size listed. I want to thank those who brought it to my attention. So, the way it looks like we have a small block instead of big block. Possibly a 350 engine. Either way, its extremely powerful.
I apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this mistake may have caused you. It was not intentional.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.
GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine
Fri, 08 Mar 2013Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.
