1969 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro
Matching Numbers DZ 302 motor
Original Hurst 4 Speed Transmission
Runs and drives great! You will turn heads everywhere you go, and the value on these just keeps on increasing. These are a much safer investment than the stock market, and way more fun to own!
Rust Free
78,571 undocumented original miles!!
This beautiful car is straight as an arrow. The paint, interior and drive train are all in fantastic condition.
The tires are BFG Radial TA's with new tread. The wheels are Anson Slots, and although not original equipment, they look great on the car.
The paint shines nicely and there is absolutely no rust anywhere. There are no dents or scratches and it looks just as good at 1' as it does from 10'.
The interior shows no signs of wear. The original AM radio is not in the car, but they can be easily found on eBay if you want to replace it with an original radio.
The numbers matching DZ 302 engine has plenty of "lay you back in the seat" power, and there are no knocks or rattles when running. It starts right up and does not smoke when starting it or when driving. You can burn the tires at will through all four gears, so be careful if the pavement is damp at all! The original Hurst 4 speed manual transmission shifts perfectly through all the gears.
The glass is all good, and the windows roll up and down as they should.
I am trying to find something wrong with the car so that there are no surprises when you get it, but it is so clean and so near perfect that I can't find anything to tell you.
The trim tag reads as follows;
ST 69 12437 NOR 268231 BDY
TR 715 51 51 PNT
02D X33
The block is stamped V0206DZ
Over the years, I have personally owned over 125 muscle cars, and I am very picky about them. This one is as beautiful as they come.
We are selling the car at NO RESERVE, so there will be a new owner at the end of the auction.
We are located 60 miles southwest of Omaha Nebraska, or 20 miles south of Lincoln. Feel free to stop and take a look before you bid, or have someone come inspect it.
We have shipped cars all over the world and get some great shipping rates. Let us know if we can give you a shipping estimate.
We require a $500 paypal or credit card deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction, and payment in full within 3 days by cashiers check or bank wire.
The car is a real time piece, but since it is 44 years old, it is being sold as is with no written, or expressed warranty. We have over 9,000 positive feedbacks so you can be certain that we are describing it to our best ability.
Although we make our living selling tires on eBay, we are a licensed Nebraska Dealer called Your Next Auto.
Good Luck bidding!

Watch NASCAR racer Jeff Gordon put one over on a used car dealer... sorta
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible gives us a couple of looks
Sat, 02 Mar 2013Put away your pixel paintbrushes, kids. Pack up your Photoshop. This is the real-deal 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible in its first official images. The droptop Chevrolet will roll into the bright lights of the Palexpo exhibition at next week's Geneva Motor Show, a four-wheeled statement of intent that General Motors is serious about taking its Corvette franchise global.
Chevy isn't providing anything in the way of further details with these two shots, but we've learned at least a couple of things about the car shown here. First off, the example seen in these images is fitted with the optional Z51 Performance Package - something that isn't immediately evident because there's no sign of the coupe model's prominent ductwork on its rear haunches. In order to accommodate the power folding hard tonneau cover, the vents that feed the transmission and differential coolers have been relocated to the underside of the car. The dark paint color on this example also does a good job of muting the contrasting black front fender vents and hood opening - Z51-spec design details that have proven to be somewhat controversial.
One other thing to note: These two shots also display the Stingray wearing different alloy wheels than the split five-spoke design shown at the hardtop's Detroit Auto Show unveiling in January. The simpler, thin five-spoke wheels should do a good job of showing off the Z51's upgraded brakes, and they'll be optional on the coupe as well.
