I am selling my 1995 Chevy Camaro. I love this car, & ""do not" want to sell,but due to an unfortunate circumstance I am forced to. I "DO NOT" beat this car, so I hope the lucky new owner will treat it the same! I just had the car painted from the doors forward, & the rear panel under the hatch where it says "Camaro". I had plans to get the rest painted as I could afford it. The rest of the paint is equally as shiny as the fresh paint, (however there are some scratches, etc.) It gets a lot of attention & compliments. I just put "BRAND NEW RIMS & TIRES" ON IT *A MONTH AGO*! AS WELL AS BRAND NEW AFTERMARKET TAILLIGHTS (HAVE THE ORIGINALS TO GO WITH AS WELL). It also has a BRAND NEW cd player (its a Kenwood, or Jvc) with Pandora, Sirius radio, usb port, Bluetooth for hands free cell phone usage (talk through speakers in car, and more. Has leather interior.!! It looks great! Still have original interior (cloth) that will come with as well. The car runs great. I have had ZERO problems with it. It has 146,235 miles (may get a couple more if I drive it to work or something, otherwise it will be in my garage). Runs & shifts great. This is an excellent car for someone that will appreciate it. The A/C is unhooked right now, as it need a new dryer (which I have already bought, but needs installed). Will come with as well. The rest of the interior is very nice. The only other thing I can think of is that the center console hinge is broken (very common in these cars) however the console is still all there & in very nice shape. It also has lightly tinted windows. I think I have pretty much covered it the best I can for you, but if I think of anything else I will add to listing. PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. 2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
Fewer than 1 in 3 Chevy dealers earn right to initially sell C7 Corvette
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Looking to make the launch of the 2014 Corvette Stingray as efficient as possible, Chevrolet will be limiting the numbers of its dealers that can sell the all-new coupe and convertible. According to Automotive News, sales of the C7 Corvette will initially be limited to less than a third of Chevy's total dealership network when the 'Vette goes on sale this summer.
Only 900 dealers out of more than 3,000 locations nationwide will be allowed to sell the new Corvette at first, and the reason for this is so that there are no shortages at dealers that can actually get the cars sold. The article says that the 900 dealerships chosen represented 80 percent of total Corvette sales in 2012.
Some of the requirements dealers had to make to get initial allocation of Stingray sales include having sold at least four Corvettes in 2012 and having a Corvette Stingray specialist who will be required to have gone through a training session costing more than $2,000 per attendee. Once demand for the 2014 Corvette Stingray begins to subside - approximately six to nine months after it goes on sale - then allocation could open up to more dealers, but the report indicates this could happen following the 2014 model year.
