I have my 2001 SS Camaro with STS turbocharger system for sale. This car has 51k original miles but the engine and trans have been built from front to back in 2012. The LS1 has about 5k miles and was built by New Covenant Performance in MT. Auburn IL and has forged Eagle H-beam rods, forged Mahle 8:5-1 compression pistons, new rings, bearings, bigger valve springs, 42 lb injectors, high flow fuel pump, dual stage boost controller, methanol injection and was custom tuned and dynoed by Speed.Inc in Chicago and made 465 rwhp and 480 rwftlbs of torque, around 525 flywheel hp. Trans was just rebuilt 1500 miles ago by Performance Transmission in Clinton IL, its a 4L60E that has been built to the hilt and has a 3000 stahl Vigilante converter and oil cooler. I have about 10k in receipts for all the upgrades. The car also has a custom aluminum driveshaft, bilstein shocks and struts, drilled and slotted rortors, custom headlights and taillights, tinted windows, new air cond compressor, new water pump, new PS pump w/cooler, and has Royal Purple fluids in the engine, trans, rear diff, and the PS pump. There is ebony leather interior which is in amazing shape, just very lil wear on drivers side bolster. It also has an amazing stereo system with a double din Pioneer head unit which has GPS, CD, DVD, and Ipod hook up and is itergrated into the steering wheel, plus 6 Focal speakers and a 1000w amp. A set of black AR custom wheels with drag radials on the rear(will need rear tires). This car pretty much has it all even a Knightrider led in the hood scoop. The hockey stripes were recently added so some of the pics show it without. Its built right and performs even better. I hate to sell it but times are hard. I have put thousands in this car and tried to over build it so it should last for quite some time, so now that the hard work is done you can just enjoy it. Basically its a Z06 with a back seat.

Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.

Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
