Very low mileage 2002 CHEVY CAMARO Z28 SS 35th Anniversary Edition in near showroom condition. I believe I am second owner. Originally sold in Georgia. I purchased the car from a local dealer (I was told the car was trailered to WI for a trade-in on rare corvette) Car had Approx 50 miles on Odometer in 2006 when I bought it. This conflicts with the available Carfax, which shows a service mileage listed as 102 in 2003, this was incorrect. Carfax also shows 2 previous owners but I believe this is a DMV titling issue. Car now has 4337 miles which are mostly highway cruising. Always stored indoors, covered, and in conditioned space. never seen snow or salt.  I got caught in a shower once. Car has the 5.7L 325 hp LS1 motor and 6 spd manual w/ Hurst short throw. SLP appearance options.  The car has no other modifications and is all original. Interior is ebony on grey w/ all leather seats and anniversary SS stitching. Still smells new. T-Tops have not ever been removed. 12 disc CD player and monsoon sound.  I have lots of documents and collectible items to go with the car including the window sticker and die-cast model. I can't say enough how nice this car drives and handles on the road, not to mention it is a very eye-catching and unique camaro. It is a very impressive and high performance car for the price.  I believe there were less than 3800 of this anniversary edition camaro built and they were made to commemorate and be the last Camaro ever.   Thankfully they were not. This car could join a collection or be a nice driver for someone. The buyer will decide with no shame either way.

Indian tuner turns Chevy Optra into Mustang 'Eleanor' replica

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

If you are a big fan of automotive oddities, this may come as a little treat. If you are a Shelby or Mustang diehard, prepare to have your sensibilities violated.
The master fabricators at BigDaddyCustoms are the minds behind what you see above. At first, it appears to be a slightly misshapen custom Mustang, modeled after "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds, but upon further examination, something appears to be amiss. In fact, the custom shop, based in India, has created an Eleanor replica grafted upon a lowly Chevrolet Optra. While it may take a second for the Optra to ring a bell, you should recognize its badge-engineered sibling, the Daewoo Lacetti, used on Top Gear.
We don't know what star would opt for the Reasonably Priced Car in Shelby's clothing, but it's clearly someone more concerned with the aesthetic than the performance credentials of this automotive mash-up.

First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
