For sale is my beautiful 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, upgraded to 840hp. The Camaro ZL1 is a limited Edition specialty vehicle from Chevrolet, and is the highest HP Camaro to come from General Motors. I orderd her in Feb of 2012 and took delivery of her from Maroone Chevrolet in FT Lauderdale in May of this year. She was ordered with every option available besides the sunroof (Bluetooth, Heads Up Display, All Power, Reverse Camera, Parking Sensors, MP3 Player, Sat Radio and much more), and also has the upgraded Sport Package with the Suede/Alcantara Interior and Carbon Fiber Insert on the hood. She has been fully serviced and garage kept at all times. She is a non-smoker vehicle, and is as close to new condition as she can be. Both Exterior and Interior are like new, never smoked nor eaten food in. The ZL1 Features the all new Gen 3 Magnetic Ride Control that adjusts the suspension at a push of a button and has a very advanced traction and launch control system. I have invested over $25.000 in making her one of the fastest and best looking ZL1's ever. I am now selling her to make room for my next project. ALL original documents, receipts, order papers, delivery papers etc will come with vehicle including original window sticker, both keys and custom microfiber ZL1 embroidered car cover. I have 2 sets of custom $6000 Forgeline 3 Piece Wheels for the car as you can see in the pictures, you can choose which set you would like to have on the vehicle when delivered. Vehicle does have a lien on it which would need to be cleared before transfer of title.

After taking delivery she was upgraded by Torq in Miramar FL to their ZL840 Package. This package included only the best of the best in parts and is currently rated at 840hp and 730ft/lb torque. This package offers staggering performance with 100% reliability and stock like driveability despite the high HP output. This is one of the fastest and most infamous ZL1 Camaro's in The World, and has been featured in several Magazine Articles and on TV. Performance upgrades included the following:

  • Lingenfelter Upper Pulley
  • ATI Lower Balancer
  • Airaid Cold Air Intake
  • NW 102mm TB
  • Torq Custom Ported Supercharger Snout
  • Torq Custom Camshaft and Valvetrain Upgrade
  • Kooks Custom Headers with High Flow Catalytic Converters
  • Torq Dual Fan Heat Exchanger
  • Torq Intercooler Reservoir
  • Factory Dual Mode Exhaust with Mild-2-Wild Switch

I also upgraded the exterior to set her off from the crowd with the following upgrades:

  • Custom Forgeline fully forged 3pc Wheels (Retails for $6000 excluding tires) your choice of which ones you want
  • Custom Painted Badges
  • Custom Painted Tail Light Bezels
  • Custom Bowtie Emblems
  • Custom Painted Engine Cover
This is an extremely unique and rare Camaro ZL1 that will literally blow the doors of pretty much any car on the road. Only the highest quality parts and upgrades have been utilized to ensure that performance and reliability stays at 100%. As mentioned before, total investment exceeds $25.000! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions at all regarding this vehicle. I have all documentation from the vehicle including original Window Sticker, both keys, instruction manual etc. I reserve the right to end auction at any time, buyer is responsible for transportation and pickup.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
