1981 Z28 with automatic transmission,350 v8 with Hooker Headers,Holley carb,Flowmaster 3" exhaust,recent rear springs and shocks,power windows,tilt steering,Pacer wheels,Kenwood CD/receiver,Sherwood sub box and amp,a/c.Interior is in good shape with updated headliner and carpet,Huntsaker Sports Seats.The body is in good shape to be 32 years old.Normal ware.Solid and comfortable ride,drives great,no shimmy or pulling ,no sqeeks or ragged out feeling for its age.The current milage is 426.Person we bought z from rebuilt the engine.Doors open and close solid,windows go up and down.Has been kept in shop covered except to drive .This car has no major rust issues,no rusted out areas such as door jams,doors hood,underneath is in good condition with only normal surface rust.No rusted bolts and nuts in the frame or other areas.Only issue with the Z is the left caliper tends to want to stick at times,probally from not driving it very much.This is a very good Z28 and in great condition for its age.Z was bought for our son to drive to high school and to hot rod it up some but he ended up wanting something bigger,a Silverado.The z just sits in the shop,no real time to spend on it,health issues too so we are looking to sell to someone to enjoy it. Chevy shows much-improved 2014 Corvette interior in new video

If you want a closer look at what went into designing and building the interior for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, we've got just the thing. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
