1970 Chevrolet Chevelle on 2040-cars

This is a true SS 396 chevelle 4 speed car. Not a clone or tribute. Not original engine, but is a 396/402 (CTX), 4
speed, flapper cowl hood, 12 bolt rear. Car sat in garage for around 20 years. Car wears all original sheet metal
and most of it's original paint (as you can see in pics top of car has never been painted). Color is cranberry. No
rust in body, just some small dents & scratches. Trunk perfect. No patches needed in floor. Runs & drives like new.
Cars like this are few & far between in this shape. Everyone has restored chevelle's, not many have survivors as
clean as this. I can't get myself to paint it. It looks so good the way it is, showing all its little flaws of a
great life. Please tire kickers & low ballers need not apply. Show some respect for one of the premier muscle cars
ever built.

2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf
Tue, 23 Apr 2013The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
