You are viewing a 1970 Chevy Chevelle Elcamino SS396. This is a real 1970 SS Elcamino Cranberry red paint code 75 with black bucket seat interior code 756. It was built in the Kansas plant. It came with the following options.396 muncie 4 speed a/c power steering power brakes shaded glass and cowl induction hood front bumper guards. The car was off the frame and the frame was restored years ago,it will need restored again as it is showing surface rust. This was a very unique color combination when new,it was red with white vinyl top and white racing stripes. The body will need to be restored as there is rust in the quarters and front fender bottoms. There is a section of the roof above the driver door where the previous owner cut out rust and never finished it,I have the repair section for the roof. The hood is solid but does have some small dent on the front curve. The bed floor is solid and not all beat up. The rear floor will need floor boards replaced. Interior is ruff but very original with a nice original dash housing and cluster(non tach). I have the original bucket seats and console,no shift plate. The previous owner switched the car to a automatic and removed clutch pedal. I have a perfect rust free tailgate and the original front fenders. There is a original Harrison 4 core radiator for a automatic car included. The rear end is a 1971 12 bolt with no center section. It does have the SS steering shaft Boxed trailer arms disc brakes. This would be a beautiful muscle car once restored. Also included is a pair of Gm full rear quarters, they were welded onto another car and need some straighten on the edges. They were NOS quarters and still have the gm sticker on them. I looked around and have not found the buildsheet. The SS is a complete body missing drive train and front windshield. I would love to return this to original condition but two young girls keep me busy enough. The wheels are not included as they are not mine, I will install roller wheels on it. The brakes are not in working condition. The mileage is actual miles at 32,000 on the title
Please ask any questions before bidding
Thanks Donald

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
