69 Chevelle SS 396, Kansas City 'L' code car, real SS 396 with date coded 396 in it. Medium Metallic Blue is a beautiful color on this car, really makes the chrome stand out ! Paint is in great condition, couple little flaws you will find when you wax the car, but not readily visible when you look at the car, overall very nice paint, smooth and buffed to a great shine ! New interior in excellent condition, bucket seats are called out on the cowl tag. Console auto car. GM seat belts. The engine bay is very detailed as you can see in the pics, also in excellent condition ! It's been cold up here in Mich., so not sure if the a/c is working right now or not, the pump turns freely and everything is there, so if it doesn't, easy fix. New Rev Classic wheels and new tires. Trunk is GM spatter painted correct, with spare and mat. The undercarriage is clean, never rusted, never patched, never undercoated, smooth and clean painted satin black. New dual Flowmaster exhaust, new brakes. All chrome and glass in excellent condition. Car in overall great condition, and very eye catching ! Starts quickly and runs very well, and very strong !

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16
Wed, 06 Feb 2013The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.
