1971 Chevrolet C10 Colorado Truck! 350 Automatic 400 Trans Runs Great! Chevy on 2040-cars
Meade, Kansas, United States
I just bought this truck to transport my bike back to LA and on 500 miles of driving the gearbox packed it in #%(@(%@)!!!!!!! Truck is located in Meade KS and must be picked up within 7 days of auction end. Truck has just has a new Turbo400 fitted by professional mechanic at a cost of $1800! Truck drives great, body is great, all lights work and a clear title. Comes with: *New 20" Boss rims still in the boxes! *New walnut wheel (not fitted) *New billet grill in the box *2" front lowered springs and shocks, 3" rear lowered springs and shocks - new in box not fitted (these are in LA and I will ship them to the buyer). *New water pump and battery installed. Bad: *An easy fix but the valve seals on No.8 piston are leaking. Just needs the head pulled and seal installed. After highway running it will oil up the plug and smoke when returning to low revs. Engine runs great appart from this and will still take you anywhere - uses no oil or water. Overall a great truck with 3 owners. For the new owner you are really getting a great package, do that head, install the parts and you have a kick arse truck.
NOTES: 1) I am honest and trustworthy seller, check my feedback. I respect you and you respect me! 2) Full payment in PayPal within 48 hours. I can help with shipping if you like, I've used Don at Automovers before and he's been great. Thanks guys - Matt

2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
