1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Convertible on 2040-cars
Strongsville, Ohio, United States
1964 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible This is a very cool 1964 Chevrolet Corvair convertible. She is ready to jump in and go for the summer!!! Features its original Chevrolet Corvair 140 cubic inch motor with a 4 speed manual transmission. She fires right up and runs nice (has the typical Corvair oil drip but I have a new gasket kit that comes with it). Transmission shifts as it should. Brakes work well also. Car has a brand new battery and newer rear shocks. The lights, blinkers, wipers, horn, heater motor all work! The original AM radio also works once warmed up (but not great). The car has had a repaint that still looks very good and shines up nice! It is pretty much rust free but there is evidence of past body work behind the quarter panels (still a very nice and presentable driver). The interior is also in decent shape and appears to be original (small piping split along drivers side seat edge). The carpet is in decent shape. The dash has a small crack that has been repaired. Dash chrome is in nice shape. Door panels are in decent shape. The convertible top and window are new and in perfect shape. The tires are almost brand new! The car has the correct wheel covers. Rear bumper is newer and looks great. Front bumper is original and a bit faded. The trunk is clean and solid . I have a repair manual that will come with the car also. This Corvair gets attention everywhere and is a blast to drive! Here is your chance to own a classic convertible at a reasonable price!!!!! Feel free to email with questions or call me at 440-785-2687. Shipping of the car is the responsibility of the buyer. However, I am happy to assist in finding transportation of the vehicle. |

GM tinkering with Silverado, Sierra model mix amidst strong early sales
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Variety, as they say, is the spice of life. That's a lesson that is currently being taught to General Motors, because despite a strong showing from its 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, the General's pickup sales still can't best those of cross-town rival Ford.
With 59,163 trucks moved, GM fell just over 1,000 units short of toppling Ford, and one of the main reasons for that, according to GM's chief sales analyst, was due to a lack of variety in the engines and body styles available on dealer lots. "We are still over-weighted toward crew-cab V8 trucks. Our light-duty mix will moderate over time as our launch progresses," said Kurt McNeil.
Loading dealers with the popular combination of the 5.3-liter V8 and the four-door, Crew Cab body style was intentional during the truck's launch, but as supplies of leftover 2013 models, which are being sold at heavy incentives, are beginning to wane, both budget-conscious and high-dollar buyers are looking elsewhere instead of at the volume model pickups.
Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Convertible is the track car for sun worshippers
Fri, 11 Apr 2014
Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
