I am selling my baby - this 1965 Turbo Coupe is Black on Black. Her suspension and brakes were upgraded for Corvair Time Trials events. Was safely stored at my Corvair Tech's garage for the last 12 years, he maintained as necessary while in storage. I just got her back two months ago. She has Carrera suspension, Custom flares, wheels, tires, electronic turbo ignition, Alpine Stereo... many upgrades that are no longer even available. Needs carpet, door locks, handles and TLC to be fully restored. Runs and Drives great, recent tune-up.. Price is firm, but will entertain reasonable offers. Clear CA title. CA car her whole life so no rust worries. These go for $25k or more easy fully restored, and that is not even for the rarest and most sought after Corvair - the Mighty 180 Turbo! There are extremely few Turbo 'Vair's for sale anywhere right now! I pray she goes to a good home; to someone who takes very good care of her!

Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues

'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
