I have here a 1966 Corvair Monza 4 door sedan.There is a short list of new parts that consist of NEW FUEL TANK! Also New Sending Unit and Fuel Pickup,New plug wires ,four new carb kits installed .Changed the oil have new oil filter too.engine runs decent no knocks does smoke a little bit no visible oil leaks .the transmission goes into gear drove it around the yard but breaks need new cylinders they are leaking down and one may be stuck have good lining and no parts missing on them.The tires are not good but do hold air spare included. with hub caps.The floor is patched but would need new pans on the drivers side and the 2 rear pans could use changing.The interior is in good shape headliner just needs a good cleaning the dome light even works.Included is the owners manual and protecto plate which came with the car for the warranty at the time.The kicker is I am also including an extra set of doors and seats all in white to match the door panels on the extra doors.The extra doors are in good shape with all hardware and glass intact.Hey Ill also throw a hood to match the doors in too.Wow what a deal.May even throw in some more parts.Bring a trailer!For pictures of the other parts included just shoot me an email. After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize.
