THIS CAR APPEARS TO HAVE ORIGINALLY BEEN WHITE WITH RED INTERIOR AND AND A 327/350HP CAR BY THE FACTORY TACH REDLINE. I WOULD CONSIDER THIS CAR A PROJECT DUE TO THE FACT IT SAT FOR 25 YEARS, IT DOES RUN BUT THE BRAKES ARE TO THE FLOOR AND NEEDS EXHAUST. THE CURRENT DRIVETRAIN IS 1970'S 010 BLOCK 350 WITH A 1972 DATED M20 MUNCIE. THE NOSE HAS BEEN DAMAGED ON BOTH SIDES HAVE HAD SOME VERY POOR WORK AND THE RIGHT REAR AS SHOWN AND FIXED WITH SPRAY CANS. THE ORIGINAL VIN PLATE AND TRIM TAG ARE MISSING AND THE CAR HAD AN OHIO VIN AFFIXED TO IT IN 1982, HENCE THE TITLE NOW SAYING IT IS A 1982 HOMEMADE VEHICLE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT BEFORE BIDDING. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
