here we have the best project car on ebay I got the car years ago and planned to keep it forever so taking years to get all the parts and finish how I wanted was not a big deal its been inside garage since 2005 was a daily driver when I got it but once I started to want to make it new one thing led to another and never really got it all back together but have a lot more new parts than when I started ......so ill do over what I have any questions just call if you don't work on cars at allor have to pay to get all your work done this is not a deal for you its for the guy that can take what I have finish it and a nice driver worth around 30,000

motor was removed and sent to speed shop bored out a bit and stroker crank steel soits a 489
nice hot cam with roller rockers new heads intake carb gear drive ( noisey ) timing chain
electric fan zoom clutch the engine bill with me supliing block and heads was $4300 real 4 pipe headers that come out under front wheel
good glass nice body tires and wheel like new inside perfect
ihave boxes and boxesof parts I have bought over the years all books manuals
tail lights fuel pump dist coil so many parts id be better off with pics
a few things that will need to be worked out ebrake not working properly
and im sure with the belt system they used in 1973 ill have a bracket or two misplaced along with clutch linkage
I think I have that all but year one has allparts needed that I may have lost
if your interested make me an offer like I said I thought I would have it forever but as things turn out im moving cant keep the garage ive used for ten years to keep my toys in so I have to sell ill sell it cheap but wont give it away if you really want a nice hot rod classic vette only year that had rubber and chrome bumpers with a real b/b motor

Chevy to show redesigned Captiva in Geneva, will it come to US rental lots?
Wed, 27 Feb 2013Unless you're renting a car or driving through Orlando, Florida (the rental car capital of the US), you'll probably never see a Chevrolet Captiva - the rebadged, fleet-only version of the old Saturn Vue - on our roads, but this crossover is popular in many other parts of the world. As such, Chevrolet announced that the Captiva will be getting an update for 2013, which will be unveiled next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Coming off a pretty extensive refresh in 2011, the 2013 model year will bring even more changes to the Captiva like LED taillights, new 18-inch wheels and revised fascias with a new grille and fog lights up front and inset chrome exhaust outlets at the rear. New interior features include heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control as well as available options on some of the upper trim levels such as leather seating and keyless entry and start. We have yet to hear back from Chevrolet as to whether or not the updated Captiva will be making its way to a rental lot near you, as the model is only available in the US to fleet buyers.
Alongside the updated Captiva, Chevy is also showing off its new Trax in Europe, where the subcompact crossover will go on sale this spring. GM's press release for these two Geneva-bound models is posted below.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
